Looking for some clarification on the Lightning Tendril changes. Patchnotes state "Stronger Pulses no longer deal 200% more Damage with Hits" but the current mod is "Stronger Pulses deal 200% more Damage with Hits and Ailments". Does this mean it still deals 200% more damage with ailments?

It's very likely gone as well. Worst thing is that even with the numerical dmg buff, while removing the strong pulse its hardly a buff at all in the end. It does however give benefits with the forced crit, elemental overload and controlled destruction having no downside anymore for non crit play.
You just wasted 3 seconds reading this.
Hello everyone from the future. I just want you all to know that I was here for Flaskfinder Apotheosis
How will crucible work for party play? Will only the party leader be able to get experience for their selected weapon, or will party members also get some benefit? If party members do, how will this work? Will it be at random, or will they have some method of selecting what weapon/item the experience goes toward?
Nice that the Infernal Legion fix made it in. :)

I pointed it out.
Poison SRS for the 50th time yay. Melee still dead.
I just came back and relearned how to play in the last month...now as i am looking over the notes I want to say that "I hope this is an early April Fools joke.", but i know it isn't.
At a quick glance, you can't even run a basic Cyclone or Flicker Strike build looking at this hot mess that the Passive skill tree will become.
Forget about running any Aurabots that are worth the name. You will die.
This is going to be a "Nightmare mode unlocked" league.
Not to mention, doing this to the playerbase when D4 is about to drop? I despise Blizzard and wont go back, but i have to wonder if the Board was drunk when they voted on this.

Edit: They didnt touch the skills themselves. Just the Passive Skill tree to kill any effective builds. I think I will try the new league but if it is as bad as i am seeing then I will wait for POE2 and hope that some sembalance of sanity has returned.

Its only nerfs :)
Leveling already sucks, so you kneecap onslaught and wand vendor recipes?! Who makes these decisions and why do they hate the player base?

I feel like the determination and grace efficiency masteries going away is not being talked about. I mean, I like the idea of it not being a requirement to have 57 defensive auras to do anything but I don't have the wherewithal to understand the long-term impacts.

This kind of 'balance' where you notice something going, back and forth is likely their answer to power creep.

Thus, the game has this constant give and take approach to equilibrium. I suppose it also serves an additional purpose. Experimentation for POE2.

I'm not really sure how to feel about it. On 1 hand the player base always finds a way around things. This forces people to be creative. Which I certainly love.

The side effect of this is pretty bummer though. So many play styles get steam rolled in the process. Something that you once loved, is sadly no more.

They claim that they do indeed play the game, but I'm very skeptical. Maybe its more complicated, in that some do and some don't. At this point I don't know what to think. This league seems boring to me though, the tsunami of nerfs not withstanding. Considering the negativity bias that infects us all, I'm left to wonder if it is indeed as bad as it seems.

The challenge rewards will determine my participation, as I am merely coasting along towards POE2. I'll still get the supporter packs though, even if I don't play.
Confront those who dare obstruct the transmission of your information with swift rejection, for they sit silently obsessing over your submission.

Id rather have Molten Strike resurrected. But nice.

It isn't dead. I was playing it in 3.18 and 3.19, I was doing uber bosses with it. Molten Strike is still ok, not meta great, but ok.

Changes looks good.
