Why is r/pathofexile set to private?

They unilaterally decided to nuke the whole sub due to a personal crusade some apple developer have with the ego-driven reddit CEO.

I find it funny that they are speaking in behalf of the whole PoE community when they never asked if people wanted the subreddit closed or not.

I guess its our fault for giving so much power to a bunch of fedora reddit mods.

Unironically, yes. I for one am happy for any excuse to stop using that POS site. Game communities should not rely on a third-party authority.

I miss the days where the forums were the main place to discuss the game.
