cause you are unable to recast after 14sec ? yeah great idea

just link multiple endurance charge gems and a fastcast together voila max charges in no time

Yeha pressing a button every 14 seconds like a monkey is really great skill.....

No not really its just a pain to play and one of the main reasons meeles feel like a total pain to play.

Which is why you're gonna play a cookie cutter class isn't it?

Try playing a discharge witch and manage three timers of charges while keeping them all going. Complainers ftw.
play that discharger in hardcore and i might be impressed

OP here: I'm glad we have sparked discussion. The one comment about a flat 4 second buff per passive is a suggestion i highly agree with, and that I agree would be the best solution.

Honestly, without sounding crass, the rest of you sound like you have no experience with the matter. You do not have the blood in your eyes, from seeing battle up close. So close that you are surrounded at all times, and on all sides by scores of you foes, fighting with fervor, watching the hordes fall slain at your feet; Only to find, that after working so tirelessly to wield continually six to eight charges of epic might... the gods leave you at the worst possible moment: stripping you of your godly steadiness, and ultimately of your life.

... all for failing to yield to their demanding sacrifice, of one monkey's stroke of a key every set number of moments.

So again: I redirect you to my original point, and I berate you all to please stay aligned for the journey.

Restated: If keeping your charges is the matter of life and death during your job, as in maintaining 6~8 for a tanky bruiser, and you have played end game maps with-and-without the modification 'temporal chain' (where your charges last 50% longer due to the curse), does it not feel as if the 'timer' under the influence of temporal chain is in the 'Goldilocks' area of time: Not too long, not too short; but just right.

Again, I agree with the two passive points being worth 4~5 seconds of charge (specific to their specific charge type) instead of the measly 2 seconds that it currently is. I appreciate the silent cast speed buff in the latest patch, but honestly that was needed simply on its own, and was/is a separate discussion that i will not delve into here. I hope you will all follow suit.

Im making a discharger in HC atm xD,

But on-topic, i agree that it is a hassle and one of the fundamentals that makes ranged more enjoyable then melee.
If u play melee, u have to watch ure charges constantly and pray to the gods u dont get "interupted" while casting so u dont lose all charges. Same with molten shell, constantly have to watch left upper screen to "validade" ure buffs, while ure fighting mobs in melee range. Quite stressful if u ask me :). I hope one day they change enduring cry for a "reserve mana" buff, that autocast's it every 3 seconds (like a walking decoy totem xDD)
Melee would get more dps, since they dont have to cast it every few seconds, and they could focus on exual combat. I can dream right? =)

Also warlords curse is way to RNG for a melee to even consider using it, when ure melee u rely on those charges to keep u alive, ure not going "i dont need my charges, but they would be welcome". I have had times where i kill 25 mobs cursed with warlords mark and get 0 charges, then i have had times where i kill 3 and have 3 charges. It should be more secure to use this curse, like every 4th hit grants a charge ore something u can count on.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
->Random small txt attached to the bottom of my post to signify its passing: Thank you

Speaking of RNG, a thought just meandered into my brain just now; Bear with me:

You know that dreadful sound your charges make as they start to disappear? I'VE GOT IT: make those sounds start EARLY.

I'mma let that sink in for a moment. Then, like molten shell, which i disagree as to having to watch its status, as its status is clearly seen and heard, i propose that the 'ding ding ding ding ding' of charges-running-out should arrive so-as the 'dinging' happens just as before; but with the ending ding being the charge running out, and the beginning ding being the start of them about to run out.

This solution will give us the audio clue to keep our eyes where they need to be, and not, literally, at the furthest possible distance away from it.
