Content Update 3.23.0 -- Path of Exile: Affliction

Curiosity question just in case I've missed something obvious...

It appears that a large number of minions have had their "... minions ..." modifiers removed from them and the same or a similar effect rolled into the base minion. If you look at that from a minion stacking viewpoint it appears that an enormous amount of minion support is being pulled with this update. Effective minion stacking supports itself as you have more of them, at least, it used to. The 3.23 update appears to remove a very large amount of these effects.

Am I wrong about this?

Will the spectres of the new corpses exist until they die? Or will they only be till end of map?

Jeez ggg decided to give vortex the molten strike treatment

-gains a cast time
-damage reduced by 30%
-increased mana cost
-mechanics removed, at least on base gem


And the funny thing was that cold dot barely has any dps.

Cmon guys, that's going to be the best league ever.
