[3.27] Guide Power Siphon Assassin blessed by Oshabi (AFANA)

Hey everyone, Afana here!
I’m really excited to share the new version of my Power Siphon build, something I’ve been working on since patch 3.23.

This league, 3.27, brings the biggest update ever to the build — with the complete Assassin rework and the introduction of the Bloodline Ascendancy “Oshabi”, which adds a powerful mix of damage, defense, and mobility.

Now the challenge is to rebuild Power Siphon under this new class, taking full advantage of Oshabi’s blessings. 🌿⚡

This PoB will guide you step-by-step through the entire leveling process.

🧭 From Leveling to Endgame

After following the video and/or PoB, you might face some common issues when adapting the build for the endgame.
Below is the step-by-step plan I’ll follow to solve them during the first days of the league:

1️⃣ Resistances

During leveling, I use Purity of Elements to easily cap resistances and stay ailment-immune.
However, the long-term goal is to move resistances into rare gear and jewels, allowing you to drop this aura.

Once Purity is removed, you can run Discipline + Tempest Shield for more energy shield and block.

2️⃣ Avoidance / Immunities

While leveling, Purity of Elements does most of the work.
But for the endgame setup, we’ll rely on layered sources of immunity:

Soul of the Brine King: Avoid being Frozen

Soul of Abberath: Reduced Ignite duration

Tempest Shield: Immunity to Shock

Ralakesh’s Impatience (Power Charge version): Immunity to Corrupted Blood

Shavronne’s Revelation: “Bleeding cannot be inflicted on you”

Runegraft of the Warp: Completes the defensive layers

These changes make the build fully ailment-proof while freeing up an aura slot for better utility.

3️⃣ Transition to Chaos Inoculation (CI)

I recommend switching to CI after level 85, when you have:

Ralakesh’s Impatience

Shavronne’s Revelation

At least 3,500 Energy Shield

Keep Soul of Abberath + Brine King active for extra safety during the transition.

4️⃣ Defense Layers

Leaving Trickster behind was a huge challenge — it has always been the defensive core of Power Siphon.
However, after several leagues of testing, I’ve discovered multiple ways to build strong defense layers even as an Assassin.

We’ll still scale Evasion, Block, and Dodge, but this takes investment and levels.

⚠️ Important Note:

The League Starter version is not tanky at first,
but with proper gear and levels, it becomes very durable.

🔮 Small spoiler:
The endgame version aims for 2 million+ EHP and around 45 million DPS!

5️⃣ Attribute Issues

The main issue you’ll encounter is Strength (STR).
Until level 85, fix this using:

Strength on your right ring slot

Passive tree points

Jewels with STR

After level 85, use a Lethal Pride jewel for extra Strength, plus Double Damage and Fire Resistance, which perfectly fit the build’s balance of offense and defense.

How to leveling with this build?

This build looks insane, I'm gonna try it, if i can't find a lethal pride like yours, what're the key passives on it to look out for?

How to improve resistances?

can you post a pob of how to scale the build?

what would you recommend for 6L in the chest?

ok fist off... the build is insanely fun and i am having a blast:D

probably one of the most fun builds i played in some time and very relaxed playstyle

I uses a lot of mechanics together to achieve nice tankyness and high damage, should be worthy of build of the week imo

but you should explain the gear a bit more, especially the lethal pride:
- you need one from Akoya with 2* or 3* 20% fire res and either 5% strength or 20 strength on any of the picked notables to cap res/have enough strength (you can use the calculator for timeless jewels to find suitable ones)
- if you only have 2* fire res you will need it on a rare jewel as well
- you also kinda need some form of fire damage for ignite to proc the 3rd ailment
- you should note its not a league starter or beginner friendly build i think^^
- you also need certain min res rolls to actually cap res
- you want max spell damage per power charge on shield and high evasion on chest
- you also want high lightning pen on the tincture, since the effect is tripled thanks to having no flask equipped, maybe even explain whats going on here
- you also definitively want immunity to corrupted blood somewhere
- as for corrupts, the one on helmet is super good to have^^
- another thing to note: dont socket chest/boots
- you want PS in your gloves (you marked it in the pob so i understood it but others might not^^)

As for leveling:
i leveled with power siphon and all the leveling uniques using a 4 link and it was super easy^^ but you need to pick some life notes

i swapped to the taming as early as i could... rest of the items when i felt ok using it

as for suggestions:
i would pick up the regenerate 1% of evasion as ES every 4 sec on the evasion mastery... saved me quite a few times^^
