I am having trouble getting the DPS of my minions as high as yours. How are you doing it? Of note, I swapped energy leech and took predator, which has resulted in a small increase, but not enough.

You are likely missing quality on your gems. Support gems can be turned in to vendors at level 20 with a gemcutters prism and then you can get a level 1 gem with 20% quality. If you check the wiki, you can see the difference going from 0% to 20% makes on a gem. It can be thousands of damage you deal or take.
