There is still them in trade. People hid them inside Cassia and they survived. Might want to take a closer look :)

a lot of 6S shields and 1handers still listed that is true

they still "exist" yes but they are unusable, as soon as you change instance with it the sockets disappear. nothing more than cool showcase items now
