3.24.3 Patch Notes

I just wanna say that this new patch feels AWESOME. from 250fps to 330fps in hideout. With scale turned OFF. Feels so smooth in maps as well. Thank you GGG

- Added a new Render Resolution graphics setting to select your resolution scaling. A lower resolution results in better performance but lower image quality.

- In addition to this, there are also new Upscale Mode and Sharpness graphics settings.

I see you all my 720p resolution friends playing on a 1080p monitor with an RX580*, stopped buying supporter packs and saving up for a new gaming rig.

Perf seems way worse now. It's dropping to 30fps even when both CPU and GPU frame times are way below 16ms. (like in the 10-12 territory)

Thank you guys, great "improvements". I play on the lowest possible settings (RX580, HD with 2x aniso filter); until now, the game was lagging and downscaling in case of many enemies (breaches, blight missions and desecrated/burning ground maps), now it is lagging constantly even on a basic map seeing the first 2 enemies. thank you very much :). I knew I have to buy a new PC in order to level up in harder environments sometimes over the year, now I see I have to do it right now after your fantastic improved gfx :)
(however I like the effort and the more gfx / upscaling options)

otherwise... the day and patch, where I have to stop playing PoE

Also, until now, if there were opened portals to a map and I was doing errands in hideout, the portals remained open even after restarting the game .... for almost forever (night to morning). now my portals closed after some minutes spent at my stash, what the heck, this was not documented in the patch notes and this is really-really not good for collecting/organizing leftover loot

Not sure why in multimonitor setup with Windowed Fullscreen it forces resolution of bigger monitor on smaller resolution monitor to upscale and changing doesn't work.
Same with Windowed mode. Cannot change resolution at all.

Otherwise performance has improved.

wtf did you do to the game with this patch? it's become unbearable to play, fps drops to 0 all the time in combat and before it almost never happened
