Orb of Chance Community Log

I'd like to contribute more accurate individual item statistics, so here are the things I've hit with chance orbs. I've kept track of how many I've used on each item as I allocated stacks for each individual item.

Keep in mind I was trading exalts for chance orbs at a rate of 24 per GCP (anyone else who has them, let me know, I'm out), so I was spending serious dough on this crap.

Oculists - 65 attempted, 47 magic, 18 rares, 0 uniques

Maelstrom staff - 43 attempted, 29 magics, 12 rare, 1 unique (taryns shiver)

Glorious plate - 107 attempted , 80 magics, 27 rare, 0 uniques

Imp bows - 150 attempted, 120 magics, 30 rares , 0 uniques

Here is my question. Does the item level of the item you are chancing help to determine the chance of the unqiue?

Nope. Unless you bought it from a vendor and its ilvl is too low (onyx recipe?), which may or may not prevent it from becoming unique, but I'd guess it simply doesn't matter.

What were you using them on? Some items don't have unique options.
