A plee to tone down the nudity

Seriously resisting the will to say "fuck off" now but why do people always find something to complain about? is it attention? is because they think they're doing "the right thing"?

I disagree. Little details like this add depth to the storyline and make the NPC's that you never see, but that affect your character, more real. You never meet Maligaro, but you deal with some of his ("inventions"?) in Act 2 that affect your storyline progression. These details make it feel like I'm in a newcomer in a world with a history, rather than a player dealing with random deus machinas thrown in because developers didn't feel like making a real plot.

First, reasonable request phrased VERY poorly. If you're trying to start a fight, well done - you used fighting words. If you are seriously offended by the suggestion of homosexuality, that is your right, and you can say it without treating others like a dick.

Second, I'd argue that Magliaro's situation isn't an example of "consequence-free" homosexuality. It sounded to me like he had a very tragic end to his story, and he was a pretty twisted guy to begin with, so, if anything, it presents homosexuality as just another perversion of his humanity, of which, it is implied, there are many. Someone of your opinion should appreciate the detail as a warning against homosexuality, bundling it up with other twisted horrors and gruesome ends.

Finally, this isn't really the place to start arguing whether homosexuality is a sin, a choice, or anything else other than a sexual preference. Wanna start that argument - make your own thread.

FOR THE RECORD - I am a heterosexual woman who thinks homosexuality in either gender is perfectly okay. I find the art in the game very well done, and I think the bubble girls are pretty and should not be changed.

This thread and some of the posts are very silly. If you fins the dark/mature themes of the game offensive(WTF is offensive in your definition???) you can choose to play other less dark/mature games. I hear Hello Kitty online is still going strong. I like it maybe you will to? As for the whole homosexual theme... Wake the fuck up! Nobody came and told you, you should like women so nobody cam and told a homosexual that they should like other men. Its like dealing with little brats, they have the mental capacity to understand they just dont want to. Seeesh. :)

I realize that my views will probably draw a lot of flame, especially from homosexual players who may feel that I am somehow stomping on them. I am not. I realize that there are many addictions that a person can fall victim to. I am a recovering porn addict myself, so I sympathize with having a strong urge to commit an act of sexual perversion. Nevertheless, I am not advocating for the game to have lots of female nudity and sexual references. I would appreciate it if the game creators would do the same. This game is not at all about sex; it is about hacking and slashing the shuffling hordes of the undead. And...er...monkeys. Lots and lots of monkeys in Act 2.

Please stop being offended by the artistic decisions made for "their" game. You have every right to go make your own game and design it how you like. If you choose to continue playing PoE at least try to appreciate all the hard work that's gone into "their" project.
