Why dedicate my time if I can lose all my XP with a death penalty?

Yeah, it's the same thing. Having a discussion and being'indifferent' to someomes feelings on the matter. Is still invalidation. That's kind of the point. Feelings are a valid argument. When you don't agree with them, and don't care about them, or don't even acknowledge them. That's what's invalidating.

If there's 'nothing wrong' with my feelings. Then why do I need to change?

You realize this is another invalidating statement. Right?

Look. I'm not trying to go 'haha gotcha' or anything. I actually want people to be able to have good back and forth conversations. To understand eachother, and for people to stop fighting.

This issue is largely unintentional for most people. It's a learned behavior. I fully understand that it's not most peoples intention to invalidate.

But it is important to recognize it as harmful, especially when you're trying to share idea's, opinions, and feelings, and discuss them without biting eachothers heads off. This is one of the main things i see on these forums that has people in circular arguments for hours.

If anyone is interested in learning better ways to communicate. I'm all open to help. Because ultimately, we all just want a good game, and the better we can communicate. The better the chances of the things we give feedback on, being listened to.

Fair enough. I don't think your feelings are valid and I'm not sorry about it if that's how you see it.

It's the ONLY exp penalty that should exist. People opt into that level of masochism.

You live with the consequences of your choices. If you want to go around saying something like that to everyone you don't agree with, that's fine. Just don't be surprised when no one wants to talk to you anymore.

I mean... I'm only saying this to you. You have no idea how I treat other people I don't agree with. Perhaps your behavior has made me not want to talk to you anymore. But you're free to make whatever assumptions you like.
+1 had a friend quited last day and he played a lot PathofExile.Told me he had enough with the punishing mechanics.

What tilted him was the Ascendancies/1 map Portal and death penalty.

He told me that the company names is Grinding Gear Games.I want to Grind was his quote. Why they taking that away from me whats the point of 1 portal its not like i wont complete the map anyway.I just want to enjoy the game but its always something punishing you always something explodes it just sucks thats not fun gameplay.

And guess what he is totally right.

Not to mention the gem mechanic overall.GGG Striped the grindy parts of the games noone complained about.Gems system just sucks .

I wanted to share some information that might help people communicate better. If you don't want anything do to with it, that's okay too.

I hope you have a good night.

Yeah, they need to rethink their approach to the ascendancy trials. Why they would think a necromancer should undergo the same trial as a Titan is beyond me.

Couple that with exp penalties and you have the perfect storm for triggering the "fuck it, I quit" mechanic.

Read a comment that made a lot of sense... GGG is Grinding Gears Game.. Why take a way the time that people took in GRINDING. Maybe they should change GGG into "Git Gud" Games?
