Group Self Found

This is very simple. SSF exists for a reason. Not everyone likes trade heavy gameplay. But we should not have to choose whether we can play with friends or have to put up with trade.

There are a number of ways to handle this and there are reasonable compromises. Don't get me wrong, the game is great but this is one of the biggest things holding it back. I don't like webpage trading and the webpage is unfriendly.

you mean standard
I have never felt further from what I know and love
I suspect they will want to implement Private Leagues sooner or later. Your group self found comes at a price.

This is something I do a couple of times every year with friends, when a league looks hype enough for us to pool a few bucks, it is very satisfying and I understand your point. But yea, I suspect there won't be such a thing as group self found when they can sell you private leagues. That is perfectly fine by me, the amount of money I gave GGG compared to the amount of hours of enjoyment absolutely justifies it in my mind.

Cheers!
SSF is just a lock on the liquor cabinet.

If you want to play in a group, just play normal and have the self restraint to not trade with anyone.

No reason for a Group version of SSF, unless they decide to grant special bonuses to playing SSF.
you dont really need it tho right?

the majority of people playing solo self found are not in the ssf league, theyre just playing in the normal server and not trading. loads of people are playing group found right now, were all doing it in the normal server.

ssf is actually in the normal server too, its not its own thing in a seperate server afaik, its simply a flag that stops that player grouping/trading and puts an ssf badge by their name as a bragging rights medal.

if you dont want to trade just dont trade. if you find that the game isnt providing you the things you need to progress make a post and tell the devs what you think you need and are not getting because the idea is that the game is providing you what you need to get by without trading.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
I don't need a bunch of you telling me that SSF is stupid. It isn't... and a lot of people know it isn't. In fact, it seems like a lot of top players prefer it.

I don't play SSF but I would if I didn't have friends. That is the issue, there isn't a good reason why people should have to choose the full trade playstyle just to play with others.

Fine, you guys don't like SSF, just move on. You can trade all you want.

This literally already exists. You can pay for (in POE1) private leagues. Sometimes people call this "BROSSF". Unless GGG says otherwise, they will likely bring this to POE2 eventually as well as it's fairly popular already.

So far I only traded twice on the first week and haven't traded since.
Those items I traded are worth 2 to 3 exalts each.

It is still pretty fun. The website trading system is not working well at the moment. It was a problem in POE 1 and it is still a problem now. You have tons of people with Chinese or Korean names putting up things for sale and when you use the web to buy it they just never reply you.

I have to agree with the others: The solution you're looking for is playing Standard and just don't trade.
That's the reasonable compromise you're looking for.
There are no drop-rate bonuses or anything in SSF, so the game experience in SSF is exactly the same than in Standard when you simply don't trade.
