I have to agree with the others: The solution you're looking for is playing Standard and just don't trade.

Playing standard instead of league has nothing to do with it and it makes me question what you are even thinking.

like what even is this? play the league and dont interact outside the friend group you want to play with. ssf is literally just that.

I assume by standard they mean trade league personally. But if they do mean Standard then.. yeah that's pretty irrelevant.

no one was telling you ssf is stupid, im not trading either, im playing self found. ive played self found 1000s of hours in poe1 and i have never traded in poe2.

i have also never played in the ssf league. why would i play in the ssf league? its literally just a badge of honour to prove to people you didnt trade. i dont care about a badge and i dont play solo, i play with freinds, none of them trade either, we play with free for all loot and share all the drops.

we just play in the normal leagues, we always play in the nomral leagues. people were playing solo self found in poe1 from the day it released and there was no ssf league back then, you just didnt trade.


trading requires you to actually go to the market, search items and buy them from people, set up shop tabs, list your items and sell them to people. you have to actually do stuff in order to trade. you dont have to do anything to not trade, not trading is the default situation you find yourself in until you make a conscious effort to go and spend time trading.




no ones saying self found is bad, we love self found, were playing self found. were just saying you dont need a league to do it, most people doing it are doing it in the normal league.

When I say SSF, I mean the official SSF mode. Not what you are doing. I have no problem with how you want to play. If you like that then great. But when I say that I would like to be able to play a Group Self Found mode, the response of you and others is that SSF is unnecessary...

I thought that as a community we had moved beyond all that by now, but regardless, it really doesn't have a lot to do with GSF. Even if I agreed with you that SSF is unnecessary to get the SSF experience, it does not follow that GSF is unnecessary to get the GSF experience.
