A game cannot do anything to break a GPU except to demand a lot from it. Demanding a lot can overheat and any lingerign problem may be drastically accelerated.
People.. just enable VSync.. and stop letting your GPUs work like mad maniacs for nothing
Doesn't work. Vsync is on. Locked the frame rate 50/20 everything off or low as possible. Running a 4070ti OC, Not the best GPU but the better part of 900$.
I don't care about LED's or looking in my PC case, I want ICE cold harware. I made a custom side panel for my PC. I use a 3,000 RMP centrifugal fan sitting on top of the GPU vent, pumping air out of the case. Via custom built air ducking, through my custom built side panel.
I have 3, 2,000 RMP 120mm Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM chromax sitting less than a half inch beneath the 3 GPU fans, sitting on custom built mounts. I want bother you with the rest of my cooling system. But it is massive overkill.
I still see 80c temps. In no other game I have played do I see that. If you need a 4090 to play, they should just say that,

PoE killed my SSD as well, got a few crashes inclusive a blue screen and then poe smoked my PC literally.
It's just really bad optimized.

What's the power limit on your GPU? Is it undervolted? Did you replace the fans on the GPU itself? Also, what's the hotspot to core temp delta?
This is nothing to do with POE2, just curious about your setup.

So your GPU was not good enough to run a next gen game. Buy a better GPU.

I did not undervolt the GPU, so the power limit voltage limit is factory for a 4070ti OC. I do see a power and voltage limit occasionally. I don't think I have a power problem. I am using a 1,000 watt Seasonic.
I see no need to undervolt or replace or remove the GPU fans. As I rarely see a hotspot above 60c running 2560x1440. I have about a 10c to 15c difference under load on hotspot, memory, GPU temp sensors. I played the last couple seasons of D4. I can't recall the fans on the GPU ever kicking on. Not that D4 was any good game wise.
Oh I am running this under Dx 11, I have tried Dx 12 and vulkan. No matter which I use my GPU ends up baking. I would drop to 1080. But good god does it ever look horrible.
