We need to raise our voices for Auction House system

+1, we need something similar to guild wars 2 trading post, there are a ton of fake items selling for 1 exalted and they don't answer
+1 need an AH system. Guild Wars 2 did it well as did a few other MMO's. Wouldn't compare D3 to anything what a dumpster fire.

I keep seeing posts how devs dont want it because it upsets the economy. Its just insane. GW2 took 5% gold to post it, 10% on a sale its worse than eBay.

I just want to be able to play without interrupt. The current system could introduce a new MTX stash tab called 'Escrow'? Items are locked and auto transferred to buyer. I'm sure Elon Musk could fix it.

Its 2025
still the same.
GGG's premise that trade cannot be frictionless (which is debatable) is satisfied by the presence of a gold transactions cost (as in the currency exchange). Provided that is carried over to an auction house for items, there is no reason why an auction house would not function well without negative effects on the game. GGG's refusal to implement such a system makes very little sense in the abstract. It makes some sense in the context of them being overworked and finding it difficult to deliver their product at the quality they would expect on the timelines they have suggested.

The year is 2025, not 2000.

The game is currently in Early Access, yes.

We might manage to get by until this summer, but when the full release arrives, the game absolutely needs an Auction House-style market system integrated. Even games released in the 2000s had such systems, so for a game coming out in 2025 — especially one that has been so successful and crushed its competition — relying on a website for trading is simply unacceptable.

Sure, pro players or those who’ve figured out the system might not struggle, but for first-time players, it can take weeks just to understand the basics of the game. On top of that, learning how to search for items on a trade website, how to look for specific items, and what criteria to use is an absolute nightmare.

You message someone who listed an item just to get no response, and so on. Also, if the player is offline, it’s impossible to get the item you want. Similarly, if I want to sell an item, I can’t do so once I log out of the game. We all have lives and can’t always be in front of our computers. If there were an Auction House system, I could list the item I want to sell there, and even if I log back in a day later, the item might already be sold. Likewise, if I wanted to buy an item, the seller wouldn’t be able to troll me by refusing to trade.

There’s plenty more that could be said, but there’s no need to drag it out. I’m sure GGG management is aware of this issue, but as players, we need to emphasize just how essential this is for us.

Even as it stands now, the game is excellent. I can’t stop playing it. As fans of the game, we want it to grow into something even better.

100% we need auction house
Im affraid they will NOT do it.

why ?

If they could, it will be already in POE1.
