" The map had 4 affixes: Rarity, quantity, 387% crit chance for monsters and 47% crit damage. Are you telling me that a magic monster with a ''grenade'' took away 18K energy shield? Even if it was a crit. that's not even close to be fair, balanced or whatever you wanna call it, What are the people witout ES doing out there then? 52% armor and 82% evasion, by the way. |

Sometimes you die, your not immortal. Sometimes you know why, sometimes not. When you die just get over it and try again. Increase your tolerance for that. Thats the only advice i can give.

But I can tell you I've run juicier maps than that, and haven't got the first idea how you get 18kes and 82% evasion, I only have 3k es and 78% evasion, but I've not seen a single one shot in all T15 maps I've run. Been mobbed a to death couple of times yes, but never one shot *And mobbed includes things like frozen in place amongst a sea of ground and aoe effects I would otherwise have rolled away from ** Also I did tell you your map was over juiced, sorry it's late and I should go to bed lol Last edited by Strangehill#1736 on Jan 11, 2025, 6:31:36 PM

" There is no way he has 18k ES and 82% evasion and is still constantly getting 1 shot in non juiced maps. That's just not possible. He's either completely lying about his defences or it's a massive skill issue. I would love to see his build because I'm guessing he has some glaring issues in his gearing, whether it's resistances or something. Just looking at his POE1 account, his highest lvl 24 character doesn't have a SINGLE 2L or 3L. And this was in Settlers league. There is no way you can get to lvl 24 without being able to find a single 2L or 3L. So this just furthers my theory that this is just a player gearing and skill issue. Also the thing with POE is it's designed from the ground up as a game in which you're NOT supposed to be able to do ALL content. They have said this many times. So if you're getting 1 shot in t15's constantly then drop down a tier and run t14's. If it continues then drop down to t13, etc etc. I have 1/5th the supposed defence he has and I have died a total of 3 times in maps. Now I understand my gear is pretty good and I'm also a POE 1 vet, but I just can't understand how you can be getting 1 shot constantly with 18k ES and 82% evasion. It just doesn't make sense. " To get 18K ES you only need 9K ES plus grim feast. The high evasion I get is from a high ES helmet plus passives and a hybrid chest. You look like the one a bit lost here. Don't look at my account for PoE 1 because, as I stated in my thread, I didn't like PoE 1 because of the pace of the game. I'm a level 91 Monk in PoE 2. My gear is top notch in terms of defences and I play CI. I have seen a couple of fanatics like you. The only answer ya'll know is ''skill issue - bad gearing''. But then again, it is you who doesn't know how to get the stats I am running now, which I've got to get without being the ''skilled veteran'' here. This is not a PoE 1 veteran topic, mainly because we are talking about PoE 2. But to be so ''confident'', I notice you are very lost in terms of the game, you don't even know how to get high evasion and don't know that for 18K ES all you need is 9K, a passive skill and a couple of buffs from skill tree. You are the first person being surprised by my stats, especially with the Sorcs around running 20K ES with perfect gear. |

I just play the game how it's supposed to be played * I believe CI has certain negatives that come with such a strong keystone. For instance DoTs. " If he is playing a DEX/INT hybrid yes he can. Monk skill side has a lot of %Evasion + %ES nodes. Just build toward Mindfull Awareness, Immaterial, Insightfull, Melding and Spectral Ward... large chunks of Evasion and ES easy. Go to CI, slap some jewels that raise maximum ES and use Grim Feast.
