Please for the love of Humanity Raise Monster lvl

All GGG egomaniacs need is to increase monster level to 84 - aka introduce Tier 20 waystones. And they can keep death penalty or whatever.

T1 map is lvl 65.
T15 map is lvl 79.
Monster level depends on map level directly.

Do we need higher level monsters? Probably yes, probably no. We need better balance. T15 maps should be hard for average builds.

Leveling problem is real. In poe1 lvl 100 was intentionally unachievable for an average player. In poe2 it is currently the same, despite promises to make game more accessible.


Alright, I get that lvl 100 is kind of a privilege, but what exactly are we supposed to play for in this end game?

The only good items must be bought.
There is no real story in endgame.
Grinding currency?
You get lvl 81 monsters with breachstone

And I agree, we need bigger lvl mobs.

Your correct EZ this is the conundrum, what are new ARPG players chasing.

GGG are ARPG players for over a decade so they are only catering to ARPG players. But the new cash cows are not decade old ARPG players.

What is GGG going to do about this, will they care?

People can hate on GGG all they want, but this is a great company and understand more then people give them credit for.

Bigger monster levels = bigger xp gain. If Devs want to keep xp penalty they should also give opportunities fore getting faster xp.
