i was on the map slick. i just finished a breach and loaded up with loot then took a portal to empty my inventory. i went back into the map to collect more loot (the map was completely empty) and started running around collecting more loot from the breach i did and suddenly my character made 2 noises of being hurt and died instantly. im a level 96 ranger with all capped res. also had omen of amelioration that worked and an omen of resurgence that was active at the time and is currently still active even after the death so apparently it didnt work.
this is extremely frustrating because im level 96 and it take an entire day of mapping to even get maybe 10%XP.
this is also not the first time ive had something sketchy happen to me on the map slick. which sucks because now its just another map that i have to avoid when im mapping.
side note: im pissed :)
To the omen situation:
Only ONE of these omens will be used. If you have the "XP loss omen" and the "gain life/es omen when below lowlife" - only one will be activated.
That's not a bug, it's stated in the item description.
You have to make a choice - lose less xp or get a death protection, not both.
