they'r human, and they'r just trying to create something bigger, and when u do something for the 1st time it takes tame to adapt and learn, that's just fine, let them live

" no just one big game but that should given them enough experience. they are acting like they are brand new to this and have no idea how to manage and allocate time/staff etc right now one game is dead and the other is in a really bad state. i expected more from a company that has over 10 years experience with this Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Jan 30, 2025, 2:50:46 AM

Poe2 was used as an excuse to deliver absolutely low effort leagues, like Crucible, Kalandra and Scourge and that's just from the top of my head.
Scourge was probably the first league i can remember when GGG released terrible league and went on radio silence mode just to release some subpar changes a month later. The pattern they will repeat oh so many times in the future. The pattern they even repeated for poe2 Last edited by Alivkos#3986 on Jan 30, 2025, 2:49:22 AM

" They had 10 years of experience of building a small game to a sizeable scale. Nothing of Path of Exile 2 shows how they made good used of it to build a slightly bigger game. Stop pretending Path of Exile 2 is ground breaking different. Go out and touch grass. |

But Path of Exile 2 has dodge roll! It's a peak innovation.
Meanwhile game is using same engine, same code, a lot of reused things like skill animations/bosses. I wouldn't be as mad if what we got was absolutely new stuff but there is so much that's just reused content... When i saw expedition in poe2 on like day 3 of poe2 launch i couldn't believe my eyes, it was the same garbage i have been looking at for years. |

" Yeah, I agree that they did made a mistake on allocating staff and time management. I've developed games myself and I understand why you can't compare managing one huge game to two and walk away to say it's just the same as handling one based on 10 years of experience. There's a lot more going on in the background than we know. " Yes, but not 10 years of managing both games. The difference may seem little to a gamer's point of view but we're not seeing the huge workload they're doing for us. I never said they're ground breaking different, but if there are a lot of viable random builds that works in the end game. That itself speaks different. |

To think they could have had 160 people working on PoE1 for the last seven years. Actually don't think about that it genuinely hurts.
Ask yourself: If this were Blizzard, how would you feel?
