The endgame 'needed a lot of work' because you decided to reinvent everything

It took you 10 years to make PoE1 endgame so good, to the point where there were very few valid criticisms about it.

Yet you decided to throw all that away and try to reinvent the wheel for PoE2 endgame. Why?! You clearly didn't have the human resources or time needed to do this. And we are seeing that negatively affecting the game that built your company.

This is a very disturbing pattern that we see in a lot of other AAA productions. They try to reinvent the wheel for no reason and then end up failing, and losing the confidence & trust of the playerbase simultaneously.

And the constant justification and explaining the reasons for it is not a good look. I'm getting 3.15 vibes all over again..

What did they reinvent about endgame? It's very similar to PoE1. Is this a low key "I hate the One Death Maps" thread?

No one cares about one-death maps. People care about terrible map design, the lack of crafting, lazy and clunky ported league mechanics, etc.
PoE1's endgame had constant criticisms to it. That's why its still being continually iterated/improved. 3 atlas passive trees? that's like only 2 leagues old or something. And hell, look at the current state of betrayal in poe1- it's bad.

Acting like a system thrown together in a few months is meant to outshine a decade long process of iterative improvements is ridiculous.

What was reinvented? Did you play poe2?
Everything from leagues, skills to content is just reused.
We even got same ITEM SLOTS

THEY COULDNT EVEN COME UP WITH NEW ITEM TYPES

It's EA to a base game that will be added to, through future league mechanics. That includes things like crafting. They are working to improve maps, unfortunately for the impatient, it wont be a 20 minute fix.

Is that the best you have? Insults, because I enjoy the game and still support GGG. If the game will never be fixed, and you're so unhappy with it, why remain? How many ex's do you stalk to this day?
