Auction House when?

trading system is way better than the Diablo series where you got to use 3rd party websites which I dont like going out of game. With POE 2 you do got to download an overlay and the trading website is actually hosted by the company.

The problem I have with it is the countless trolls that post stuff and dont actually want to trade it. Probably trying to kill the market value so they can snipe items from unaware folks. After about 30 minutes ill find a legit trader.

Auction house would sort this out by forcing them to a buyout price. Once its listed someone can buy it.

AH is not a deal breaker for me but man would be pretty nice not have to deal with this hassle.

Heck add it as a microtransaction for the guild/personal hideout. Normal use will be in a selected town but you can buy the AH NPC in the shop for your own hideout.

We need normal autcion house where u can buy items! Not this stupid system where u find, person need be online, writing to them, inviting, trading in game - this is pure unusable bullshit!

Absolutely not. Enabling this as MTX is recipe for a precedence for future features into the game.

Think...before we suggest ridiculous ideas lest they manifest it into reality.

The currency exchange is a nice step up, first by allowing only those who have completed the campaign as a deterrence..no less.

No need to rehash ideas & the merit of having an ingame AH from pages back on the advantages etc since we'll just repeat ourselves here.

MTXing will just contribute an argument as Pay to win (convenience)

I agree but fundamentally I'd rather have no auction house and no bots vs an auction house proliferated with bots, and if a mtx can prevent bots and provide an AH without bots that is the best case scenario.

But let's be honest, we are just not going to get an AH lmao

I did think. Try reading again. The feature itself would still available for non-MTX.

I’m willing to do absurd things to make my point about how important in game trade is—so here come the silly examples.

I'm okay with spending 300 coins just to have in-game trade NPC summoned into my Hideout.

I'm okay with trading in-game by using the /beg command ten times in a row to an NPC just to open the AH window each time—at least I’d be sure the NPC is activated and responds to me.

I'm okay with paying 10% of my currency in exalteds based on CE rates when I sell an item, and then also having to /beg even more just to retrieve my share from that NPC.

Now, replace /beg with something else, if you know what I mean. ;)
