You just proved his point, he has no reason to play. He will lose his work, he should have saved his $30 and played in a year for FREE.

I mean, that's a risk everyone takes and nobody hid. There is no sense blaming anyone for this because it was made absolutely clear this was not a finished game. I have at least half a dozen friends that refuse to play now because they know it will be free and at that time they will play.

That just comes down to being an adult and making a decision that involves risk and reward. The risk is that they burn out and these changes happen vs the reward of getting to play earlier and be part of the wave that tests everything. $30 for a game is hardly abnormal, nor is it really a big deal for most gamers that brag about how great their system is and their 4090's and X3d cards (especially considering that it's less than about 80% of the microtransactions in the game). If someone doesn't value the reward over the risk, then they made a poor decision to buy the game. Nobody pried the CC numbers from their hands. Nobody misrepresented the game as a finished product. Everybody knows it will be free on release and they can just wait. Blaming GGG for not delivering a fully polished game experience for free is just silly when anyone who buys into this should know what they are getting into.

The wipe is needed though.

Gives all of us a chance to get somewhere. Currently we have a monopolistic few sitting on their throne and that's that.

Anything good has a utopian price tag. 900 div wands, 450 div armours, 350 div amulets.

It is nuts.

Nothing good I have in my sale tab sells at all. I mean in the low 1-25 div range as the last few people playing likely have no cash like me and also try to sell things for a div or 2.
