Maces are slow AF, GGG drops a new Unique 2H mace with 10% reduced attack speed???

GGG have got to be trolling with this garbage.

Can't believe I believed them that they'd fix melee in PoE2.

If they're going to go this route then maces need to hit harder than literally everything in the game with no exceptions. You can't make them have so many downsides with literally no upside. Negative attack speed always feels bad, but hitting hard is fun, that can be a fun and fair way to balance out the power and fun ratio. Right now you just do the same damage as everyone else in the least fun way possible.

I just wanna know why rings have cast speed and no attack speed on them. If I had attack speed on rings things would be so much better.

problem is if they attack fast they are the best items in the game guessing its a balance issue. honestly the game is kind of a mess right now from a item and build stand point. there are 2 builds heorld, and spark

Even if maces attacked 300% faster, they'd still be worse than Spark or Minion builds.

My advice if you want to play melee go play POE1.

POE2 is such a slow tedious game unless you're playing a blaster.

Have to wait to see if axes turn out decent but a lot of the problem, really the core of the problem, is that the warrior side of the passive tree is garbage for the most part.

The armour nodes rarely give anything especially useful.

There are hardly any life nodes.

And the mace skills are all just trash.

If I can drink sips of tea between mace slams, they are too slow.

Tell me about it. 99% of uniques are useless no matter the situation. Only a handful are good
