15 hours in on second character (Sorc) and this is already boring as hell. Leveling is just way too slow and I don't have 12 hours a day to play your game. Be reasonable GGG.

there are youtube guides on how you can reach endgame in 6h, no need to play 12 hours a day to get anywhere.

" sometimes i also think about why i'm still doing this cause there is so much other stuff in life you can throw your power into, but then i notice that one is quickly getting used to "more gratifications" and "more stuff to do in the game". the feeling of games "respecting your time" goes away quickly if devs don't permanently raise the level of rewards and where that results in you can see in the current state of ggg and poe1. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" coming from "formerly" std player. when i was younger i really loved the idea of accruing vast amounts of wealth to be godlike in a game. it took my years to make a very strong build that i call my own and yet i havent cleared everything. ggg keeps creating more aspirational content. the chase never ends. i used to love the idea of creating a game to be played forever. but now i realize that all the gratification i get from poe1 can be distilled in a vampire saviour game. i want to "come back" to standard and really my build is much more stronger there but i'm just too jaded to continue. i no longer want to farm yellow juice to convert to divines. i no longer want to farm up a mirror. i just want to have fun. " Yet we see you return, announce a rage quit, only to return again to continue the same cycle. " A company continues to create content to keep the active player base interested in the game, what a evil thing for them to do lol. Guess it sucks to be a "casual" with a high level of fomo. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" the irony is not lost on me tho i would say this is the fastest i've ever quit from poe. i m at 74. so close to 80 which i need to hit for the mtx. my level of disgust towards poe1 is so high that i cant even bring myself to push 6 more levels despite it being a literal molehill for me to climb. " i dont know if you're intentionally being antagonistic. but there is truth to your words. it definitely sucks to not want to grind so hard in a game that is based on grinding. to which this league was a good reminder for me to never come back. and while on the topic of quitting. i m actually considering putting poe1 and 2 bahind me entirely. poe1 is already history to me. i m just waiting to see what ggg has in store for poe2 and what its going to turn out on full release. i've learned enough that if a game is not what i want it to be then the game simply is not catered towards me. "No offense but those are bold statements coming from someone who openly quit the game, made a thread about it even, returned for the "event" and now this. At some point you're just not taken serious anymore and your feedback doesn't have much weight behind it. But that's just my opinion. On that note, see you next league. |
