After 1000 Hours "Learning" the Loot is not enjoyable.
" Never played any of those game, completely new to the genre so I have no idea what your talking about or comparing this game to. |

The main problem is that you people are doing 6 maps/hour and expect miracle.
The same shit is in PoE1. You prepare your map for 20 min when I will do 20 maps alch and go in same time. On Probation Any%

" So how many hours should be played to get good gear so we can do more than 6 maps per hour? What should people find acceptable? |

" I get it what are you saying and understand your frustration. You just need some more time to understand that this game hate you if you don't do meta shit as everyone else. Everything is balanced around this and always will be. If you want good experience at your own, find another game. On Probation Any%

" PoE games were made to counter the more "casual" style gameplay that the Diablo series has adopted. The game (PoE) is heavily built around trade and not participating will make for a challenging time to a first time gamer. While D3/4 ignore the trade aspect and allow drops to rain more frequent, the items dropped are still complained about. This game is meant for people that want risk to gain reward, while the other is meant for people that don't want risks and just get rewarded. |

" Yeh. Never seen anything risk reward here. Everything you said sounds amazing. I have not experienced this in the game to be honest. Completed all content and went through a phase of juicing all maps with delirium rarity and quantity mods. Did most things the YouTube video told me to do and I couldn't get anything valuable. Was running at a pretty large loss. Your description of the trade difference makes sense because it seems that flipping or taking advantage is the only way to actually obtain loot. This game is obviously balanced way to much in the direction of trade, and it's a full bot questionable ethics trade. As a new player who actually loved base game up until maps something is seriously wrong with this game. |

Low quality system of dropping items and resources! The game don't appreciate the players' wasted time. At this point, the game is dead before it's even born!

" Yes, there will be bots in any game where trade is allowed. Even in games where it isn't, selling full setup accounts is still a thing. The endgame was tossed in last minute to quiet people that complained D4 released with little to no endgame. There is a good chance we'll see quite a bit of change to the atlas map endgame before launch. Currently the game is only about half complete (EA) and we're waiting for the rest of the content to be added, which hopefully will make things come together a bit better. |

Loot was always a problem, already in PoE1. At least for me it doesn't feel good. I think the main problem is, that this game is designed around trading, even though it's played solo 99% of the time. I think the game should be designed around solo player and trading should be optional. That means, players get enough loot to be completely self-sufficient without any hassle at all and realistic drop chance to get even the rarest of items and trading is optional, if you need something very specific for a specific build (like a unique).
