lol i tried my best farming up and doing my best to make the best crucible echoforge that i could
i think i spent over 200 divs but ending up BREAKING my freaking crucible echosword in the end the best i could get was a 21 div echosword that i bought before the league ended. i used my std wealth to roll it up a little a shame i forgot to 30% quality it before they reworked syndicate. Honestly power creep is out of control since a long time.
Crucible was just another big power creep time, luckily enough it didn't made it into the core game. But that doesn't change the problem of the other remaining chunks of unbalanced power creep Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" tbh player power creep is the only reason i kept coming back. ggg constantly adds content power creep on the opposite end so its only fair players get something in return. but that said, i dont find myself running on this threadmill anymore. if poe2 had remained as additional content to poe1 then things would have been different. but now my standard gear are all historic items in a museum as i find myself not having strong reasons to play poe1 [Removed by Support]

At this point it would probably be better,
rather than the 8 single Standard «dump» leagues, to instead never to have the items merge, but then also to have the old league characters to use the old game versions : (at least in terms of general balance, though I guess downloading a full game version for old enough leagues might be warranted ?) so for instance in the future we could still play old characters (but not create new ones ??) that use Phrecia or Affliction ascendancies. (Oh, Standard might still exist as a migration opt-in, but using latest version with latest ascendancies only ?) |

The league with the extra little passive tree on items was very enjoyable, i had a blast levling also!
I could see how many broke the game with some crazy items, but i was still hoping it would stay :) Personaly it was one of the most enjoyable times in poe iv had. Cant have to much Junk in your Stash

" Power creep is fine, but only if they keep it in balance with content. While the current state of poe1 is still fine and fun it still really has seen better days in terms of fun. Cause nowadays you don't even have to try and can slap all the content on day 2 ground loot budget without trying, all thanks to years worth of added player power without any real adjustments to the base game difficulty. And that is really a sad state giving that most players leave week one in a new league cause they achieve everything way to fast. In the end no real gain for either the "slow" or "fast" players. The game is just in dire need of a big difficulty adjustment to put things on par with the current player power, but I doubt this will ever happen, heck hence they started making PoE2 as PoE1 is sort of hopeless and beyond fixable in this regard. Still fun sure but it's more or less Path of Diablo and less what it used to be. " You know it, I know it, everyone knows it that despite all the words, you'll be back next league lol Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
