I like the new maps and content but overall i think everything besides providing content was a total failure. reduced meta builds from 3-4 to 1. endgame progression is far worse and more of a slog than ever. the overall speed of everything getting nerfed on top of drop rates for usable and valuable items also being nerfed results in one of the most oppressive feelings ive ever gotten from any RPG, and there are not many popular RPGs i havent played. and on top of that its had over a dozen emergency fixes because of things that were totally busted. and by totally busted i dont mean Una not playing her lute busted, I mean game breaking/progress halting bugs.

I can't stand them all. This one whines and whines, it was obvious just looking at his face, the first time he got his ass handed to him at exilecon, that this is not a game for him. Should just go to LE or stick to PoE 1, and stop telling PoE 2 devs what to do.
Rest is comparably unbearable. One is cringe screaming at the screen. Another saying juvenile stuff like hey I wonder if Easter Bunny was done from behind, wow really, now I have to stay, what else's on your mind. One looks and talks like speed freak. One came from Diablo 3 and is now telling PoE devs how to design an arpg. Etc etc. It's not even bout their negative feedback, just like really, this guys are who masses listen to? Just play the game and stop adopting views of imaginary friends from youtube. |

" Do not worry ^^ If we, the whiners, will come to a conclusion that PoE2 is supposed to be played in a designed way and not in a "Can i use this mace to cast spells, that will trigger my swords and those swords will summon minions that fire frost bolts" way, we will leave. If creativity will be punished by design in PoE2, creators will leave. So worry not. Then you will be able to enjoy your factory made ready lunch. Great metaphors, except not making sense in the context.
You claim finding exploits in an overcomplicated ruleset to arrive at the same or similar outcome is creativity. It's not, it's just finding exploits in an overcomplicated ruleset to arrive at the same or similar outcome. PoE 1 is great, better than PoE 2 in some aspects. Ziz loves both games. If this comes as a surprise to you, then maybe you havent followed his stream in a while or ever.
Also, Yawn of the Hunt truly is a disastrous ”league”. Whether you wanna jump ship and play LE, go touch grass or waste your time on the forum, 0.2 is not worth the time. |
