To the comunity...

I agree.

however. the devs are almost 20 year veterans by now of their craft, and have both the ability to not take things personally and also thick skin for any direct insult.

in this world you let people be people, negative behavior can be nauseating but one can also practice mindfulness to a major degree in this forum, and learn a lot about how to keep inner peace, while the old community goes through the stages of grief for their beloved PoE which is not PoE2.

keep in mind even though it's a videogame, it is still a precious and important thing that players feel like they're losing, so denial/anger/depression are normal reactions (grieving process). it's very human.
OP, we are in good hands on this part. The extremes and silly posts go as far as the post. They dont even make it up the ladder.

The usual actors are in there, they know the changes they ask for arent happening, they have no talking points. Its the internet.
Its fine. Most of it is just rage bait.

The developers have shown time and time again they ignore extreme "remove X" posts:

XP loss on death
Sekhemas honour mechanic
Map death limit
On death mechanics
River hags(lmfao someone JUST made another one)

And then 0 chance of happening ideas:

Bring back .1
The campaign shouldnt require you to make correct choices
Nerf xyz campaign boss. (have literally seen all of them at this point)
Give SSF special loot treatment
Give us an Easy mode

Then the usual banter that isnt even feedback:

Feel betrayed
Its bad because its bad
I quit
Johnathan/Mark posts
POE2 is dying
Play meta or struggle

Etc.. etc..

These are posts FILLED with antagonism, nonconstructive feedback, or vague inconsistent arguments. As well as unrealistic expectations.

There is no reason to worry about them. The thread, and their contents, stay in those threads. Devs have made it clear they do not entertain them.

If you cannot handle feedback, you should relinquish your position.

This is business, not personal. Many people do not like the new product. Many problems people spent the time notifying GGG about from 0.1.0 over the months did not get fixed. Many problems even got exacerbated.

This isn't anything other than consumers angry that they were ignored and lied to. Like I said, don't be a snowflake.

Why u make it personal?

Man, the game have mistakes, and some things changed from back there 3 years ago.... So?

I mean, at the end of the day is not like u were fired from ur job or something like that...
So why u take it personally?

There are things u dont like? Good. Be vocal about it and adress those things.
But take it personally like it offended u somehow, is simply u, taking it the wrong way...

Snowflake? Or maybe u are way too huffy instead, man?

Feedback from who? Selfish players who only see one sided like you?
Or you mean those streamers paid by other studio to promote their game?
Seasonal players/streamers who only jumps ingame during some seasonal beginnings so they can get more public/"fun"?
You definitely must have mean those 0 hours played rewievs from steam.

GGG is trying to make a game and than profit out of it. Noone is trying to sell you some name like blizzard did. We all knew that poe 2 will be different than poe 1...

At last someone asked community to be polite and more precise with their feedbacks adressing the game and here you are, calling them a snowflake, while acting like one by yourself (not just in this thread).

Well this is incredible news. Thanks for sharing.
WE paid for the right to complain about the things we see as wrong in development so the game fits US better. Not even sorry if our complaints don't fit the game designers 'vision'. We really don't care at ALL about that. If you have a vision for a game that ISN'T Path then DON'T NAME IT PATH. This isn't rocket surgery. Sequels should have the STUFF WEE LIKE from the original as well as new interesting stuff. This isn't Disney you can't take a dump all over us then say WE are the ones wrong when we complain.

U didnt pay to complain man. Thats a missconception. U payed for a product like u do in any shop for whatever.
Then u can complain, u can put a reclamation or whatever at maximum. But if u start being disrespectfull with the shop owner, belive me. U are gonna get fired.
So, no... The world doesent work this way.

Just people in internet are so open up to be that disrespectfull all the time cause them have a screen and not a real person face to face.

I understand ur issues, but there are always polite ways to say the same thing.

I personally think being polite means to give a company your honest feelings and opinions about the game. If GGG turns things around and makes a 0.3.0 better than 0.1.0 - I will be ecstatic. Until then, many people are trying to voice their concerns loud and clear, because it would seem voicing their concerns during 0.1.0 didn't really work.

It did work. This patch is amazing and minus some minor flaws (which they already addressed in the upcoming patch) it will get better and better.
