What would u prefear as crafting system?

The worst thing is, aside from essences, there is literally no way to at least narrow down the pool of mods.
You want a flat "Phys Mod" on your "+#% to Physical Damage" weapon? Slam an exalt and pray to RNGesus. Well, or slam a chaos and pray again that it does not remove the mod you already want. It's a lot of prayage.

Diablo 3 had best crafting. Very satisfying, enjoyable, logic.
For me is best example of well done system.

That's the reason i think essences should add mods, and greater essences add high tier mods (like premium versions of exalteds).
About essences.

Im more into normal ones are used in blue items and take 1 affix and smash on it the essence mod

Greater one does the same in yellow ones.

U cant use more than 1 essence per item. And if u try, u will simply replace one essence mod for another.

I dnt even remember that Diablo 3 had any worth crafting method at all...
Need some deterministic crafting like the crafting bench from path 1. To avoided the whites only matter issue make craftable affixes an affix. A blank affix you can craft on is different than no affixes on a white. Getting six craftable affixes would be like a six link drop from path 1.
I like an RNG system, where the odds can be altered. Basically I like Omens, Greater Essences and tiered rarities. Maybe I think it is fair.

Generally I dislike spamming a huge lot of crafts. It would be great if we just have a handful of currencies and bases at healthy intervals, and that would be enough to get us to the Pinnacle bosses. A tab full of crafting bases, nor a 100 Essence rerolls, is not really my jam. Rerolls with risks are probably ok for me, for example Orb Of Chance either upgrading rarity, rerolling or pooffing the item each time it is used.

White items are kinda useless as a crafting base in the end game imo. Like no way I want to try my chances, even with Lesser Essences, to craft roll a high mod when tiered rarities exists. Tiered rarities have nothing on white items. If, for example, whites could have their ilvl increased by rarity, and ilvl mattered more with Exalt slams, like eliminating lowest of rolls based on ilvl, then I would be all up for it.

I sometimes forget some people is not as crafting enthusiastic as I am.

I understand that. U say u should b abble to reach pinacle bosses with some sort of solo self found and no crafting?
Or u consider trade as part of the way to make it. For me Id like to get there trough crafting instead of trading or gambling that much...
