There's no need for a manual check, a simple hidden kill effect 'with damage dealt above 500k' would be enough for an automated nerf on drops.

I’ve long expected a drop shield to stop farmers with optimized gear.

I have my build capped dps right around 450k. Reading all this I’m gonna reduce it to 50k. Probably get better drops based on your damage.

now you kill, and the bastard only drops gold...

other day i killed a boss in a t16 map. he didnt drop any thing.

Ending the second day with less than 500k damage (counting Crit bonus).

I getting crazy, give me my foil hat.
