No shot dude. I get 30+ splinters from a breach with the atlas breach points and with 90 rarity on gear and 2 towers I walk out with at least 10 ex and I don't even stack quantity or rarity, I'm a Ritual farmer and I only go for pack size. Try to get 100 rarity on gear, it helps immensely, I also thought the drops were trash but since I got all my atlas points and max ritual and breach points I've gone from 10 to 70 div in a week.Good luck out there brother!

" Max i see are 3-4. Even when min maxing everything. 91% rarity on gear, way stone with rarity and quant + triple juiced tower. I had a map which got juiced to 116% rarity via tablets, put in a 90%+ rarity waystone which also had + amount of rares in the 40% range in it and got 3 ex and 5 rare items as well as 2 uniques. I posted in another thread. I got attacked for that post since I mentioned how shit my drops usually are before. Nerveless such a map fitting into 1 inventory after picking up every rare which dropped feels way to low in my opinion. I hate the super min maxing but its the only way to at least get some currency for me right now. I had no div in 5 days with a lot of playtime (40+h) just spamming maps with ~5min clear times. I then got 2 divs over 2 days after switching characters. It can be by pure chance since the sample size is not big enough but I'm close to needing a tinfoil by now when it comes to loot. I leveled a new char today and got 2 ex in 6 acts a ton of vaals way more than on any other character and like 20 jewels. I almost felt like my ex drops got replaced with vaal's and jewels. The majority of rares and bosses dropped only blue items + 2 vaal's. I tried to lvl an ssf character in the first week of 0.2 which got 22ex in just the first 3 acts. I planned on playing ssf initially and went trade just in case. The loot there felt so bad that my ssf char still is in act 4 (1 cruel) People posting they get 5-8 ex per map feels like a joke. I average about 1-2 after min maxing everything. I have never had a map drop more than 4ex. I feel like their is something wrong with loot seeding but I can't pinpoint it. Some chars feel better than others drop wise but its to vague or by pure chance to come to any conclusion. Jonathan mentioned in the skipped frames podcast that he was looking into spirit loot simulations and didn't like what he saw. Maybe there is something maybe the loot is intended like it is. We will see that in the upcomming patches. So far I'm just trying to enjoy the game as best as I can and somehow create my own build while being poor af. |

I have 160 rarity on my gear
distill my maps with 3 distilled greed waystones and tablets also have rarity on it i take atlas nodes that boost modifiers on my waystones and tablets to further boost rarity. i had 5 divs drop yesterday and 2 perfects | |
" The only thing I'm currently not doing ist distilling everything. For multiple reasons like not having the currency to constantly buy greeds but also evem more important me skimping out on defenses to get 91% rarity. I have 55% fire 76% cold, 48% lighting, 0 chaos in my map farming setup just so I can get the rarity up. Yes I could try and trade for some better gear I have 9 div right now after finding a few very nice crafting bases I sold. But I don't want to I want to progress on my own and not by trade to win. My other char is res capped but is lacking dmg with its current build especially for map bosses. So the only choice by now is trade or keep grinding. I think my tree is pretty reasonable except 2 points still missing. II would like to do strongboxes and exiles but those aren't even close to being worth  |
