Cross play for the market

Hello I've seen a few posts like that, but I think devs need to see this, that is the reason I make another post on the subject.
With the start of poe 2 we got the account consolidation (or how you want to say it) and in poe 2 we have cross play anf very important - cross trade! When xbox ps and pc can trade. This is maybe not a big deal for pc players, but for console players it is huge.
All we ask us to do it the same way for poe 1 in 3.26. Please just do it!!! You already did the hard part with managing the accounts!!! It is really badly needed in the console space. Please GGG

crossplay between PS and XBOX at least.
Crosstrade between all platforms would be sooo nice!!!
Exactly! This is necessary right now!
This would be a dream come true!
Yes, please make it happen.
This is literally the only thing missing from PoE1 now for me. If they added crossplay for PoE1, I don't think I'd have any interest in PoE2 until it's polished.
Just going to voice my opinion that I do not want crosstrade with PC.

However, now that we have private leagues on console, I will at least have the option to join a smaller economy by choice, if they do choose to implement crosstrade.

Why would you not want cross trade? It simply adds more choice to the game.

An example: Fury Valve, 5 on XBox trade, 19 on PS trade and 3314 on PC trade.

And if you don’t want it, you can simply choose not to use it?

Before I start, let me say PC doesn't have the trade board, it ONLY has the website and the stupid "visit their hideout" trading. IF we ever get cross-economy, the BEST case is that we keep trade board for console-only transactions. There's a 0% chance we get trade board for PC. And I *much much much* prefer the trade board (asynchronous trading is 1000x better than on-demand in-person trading).

With that out of the way:

Easier access isn't necessarily better.

Think about a spectrum of ARPG games. On one end, is Ruthless mode of PoE1, with extreme scarcity of items and very slow gameplay. On the far other end is hacked gear Diablo 3, where you can instantly finish the most difficult content as soon as you start playing. There are people who find each of these fun. But MOST people would rather be somewhere between the two.

For me, personally, the ideal balance is somewhere slightly less "scarce" than SSF PoE1. I prefer a small trade league economy. It just feels better and more fun to me.

ALSO, I don't want to just play SSF instead, because I really like playing with my friends. And not all of my friends would enjoy playing in a tiny "group found" private league.

Advantages of small economy:

1) Your character is not instantly geared to high enough power to steamroll t16 maps (which you can do in PC trade for 5-10c, which you can easily pick up while leveling your character)

2) You spend less time trading and more time playing

3) The items you find on the ground are worth more

4) Rare (not the item rarity, but the drop rate) drops are much more exciting

I personally find the Playstation market CLOSE to perfect. I've played PoE2 with cossplay + crosstrade (and other games with it as well), and I'm *not* a fan of the giant economy. It creates greater extremes (items are either worth absolutely nothing or so expensive "normal" players will never have it), and there's many more people scamming and market manipulating.

Now, IF they add an item auctionhouse or similar, so that PC marketplace doesn't require the "whisper 20 people and then visit their hideout and wait while they finish some other action", then I won't complain if we get cross-market. I'd still rather not have it, but it would be WAY less irritating to deal with.

For the people who want to say "if you don't like the big economy, just play SSF in trade"... I'm a very competitive person by nature. If there's a (non-scummy) way for me to get ahead, I'm going to use it. AND if I don't use it, I will regret not having used it and feeling like I'm "behind" all the players who did.
