Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.

And I guess no need to mention the stupid Lightning Spear or huntress skills in general that are just broken.

Where is the meaningful combat?
Who is the target audience for this gameplay? Monkeys?
What does the game even requires of me, to push one button to finish the game?

Mark and Jonnathan in 0.2 live interview clearly said that if there is a build killing pinnacle bosses in seconds, it deserves a prompt nerf. Why there were no nerfs to this?

Why is PoE 2 abandoning it's direction and going for the "candy shower" just to shut up the kids/streamers crying to get the instant gratification and have all obstacles removed?

This isn't a game anymore, it's a walking and loot picking simulator, nothing else is required of me, no challenge.

And here is the major problem:
How do you attempt to challenge these builds?
- More one shot mechanics
- More boss invulnerable phases
- More on death effects
Stuff that everyone hates, but that's the only thing that can even remotely touch these builds, but will negatively impact every other build and player in the game.

The more player power you give to players now, the harder it will be to take the player power down in next patch. Just like giving a candy to a kid and then realizing it's not good for them so you need to take it back.

I understand some people want to feel stupidly OP and they enjoy that kind of gameplay, all right. PoE 1 is already like that, go play that game.

Stay true to your initial PoE 2 plans.
Don't get forced by few crying streamers wanting to push-out just another BROKEN BUILD video to get more views.

Player power needs to be nerfed down... by a lot.

You got it mostly i would say. Screen Clear builds is the way to play this game, because anything else doesnt really make sense.

To have meaningful and methodical combat similar to lets say Dark Souls or Bloodborne, you would have to revamp the whole game. You would have to reduce Monstr Numbers by a lot, make those monsters hit a lot harder and so on. Then area size would be more of an issue than it already is. That means you would have to reduce area size. And many more things, but you get the point i think. It would require a complete design change of the whole game which wont happen.

I also dont think many people would want that.

The whole point of arpg for me is killing tons of mobs
Where is the fun if u struggle killing a single mob?!

Bro the problem isn't only the one click screen clearing. If they want to bring conditions before patch 0.2.0 where all classes had the opportunity to build such a viable build, then it is ok , but bringing viable builds ONLY for specific classes or weapon is not acceptable. It's running the party game.

I wanna my Herald skill combinations back, if not then equal possibilities please....

In the end we gonna change all of us to spear play. Actually they force us, becouse balance continues to be s..t.

Herald of Thunder with Cold supports. So Herald of Thunder Freezes, then Cast on Freeze with Voltaic Mark and you have a self propagating chain. Which is Pretty similar to 0.1 Heralds in 0.1.

Yes Balance is shit and Spear is the go to weapon at the moment, but its not the only weapon that has some seriosuly good stuff.
Chaos Skills are good, Quarterstaff is good, Bow is still good you break the 1mio dps with Lightning arrow. Many people also sleep on bonestorm.

And then there is cold snap

You're making things too complicated. It is enough to bring the balance in the endgame to the company's level, and make the weapon approximately the same in balance as a crossbow, for example.
I try but nobody ever listens, and it's been every mmo i've jumped through making the same exact mistake which caused it's inevitable mass exodus. no challenge = no game, and NO, pinnacle bosses are not the answer. 1 shotting dance mechanic bosses are not end game content. they can be a piece of it sure, but that's not what makes end game. end game is grind that feels challenging AND rewarding on a consistent basis, largely through crazy grind and skill.
no game = not supporting it.
im probably in the top 1% of support given to this game if i had to guess although this is purely a guess however, i have easily shelled out almost 2 grand already into it
not a penny more goes out until this nonsensical crap stops and it's worth playing again.
Spoiler

That would do absolutely nothing. You would still one shot whole screens. And if u nerf everything and keep enemies as they are, then barely anyone would play the game. Cause having large number of enemies that take a long time to kill is shit. No game ever exists who does that. Cause its bad.
If you have 20 enemies i front of you that threaten your life every minute of you fighting them. And then they drop absolutely nothing of value afterwards is a shit experience. What you would have to do is reduce numbers of enemies increase their rarity by 10x make them stronger, make them hit hard, but make you hit hard too. That is what Dark souls does. And i think that is the only way methodical/combo gameplay can work in POE2.

This is a case of people dont know what the result is of what they suggest.

This.
When the people will be spending 30 minutes a map instead of 5, how soon they gonna get bored again?

Besides when the people say they are "bored" it may mean literally anything. They can't estimate why exactly, so I wouldn't take serious what the OP says.

No make sense because defense in this game is not exist , Evasion sucks , ES even if i have 10 k its few hits and ES is on 0 , armor is not working ,Resistance seems not working as well ive got capped all res including chaos and stil my char is squishy as hell , is no other way to play then kill everything first , 0.2 dawn of hunt is the most shitty patch i ever seen except D4 patches , im playing hundreds of hours and i dropped maybe 1 or 2 items which was worth something more , rest of this 99% is a crap loot , also im forced to play character which i don't really enjoy after they make stormwaver or sorcerer generally unplayable , i can't believe how they could fk up this game so bad in 0.2

In PoE1, if you feel too strong, you juice more. You tackle T17s, then move to 100% Delirium T17s, and eventually try Void Valdos, which can delete your character if you die. You guys just don’t know how to play the game and want GGG to make your unjuiced T15 maps harder. I really hope GGG won’t listen to your “meaningful” crowd, because what you suggest is actually wrong and unhealthy for the game.

If you feel too strong, juice more—that’s the core of progression. If you can run a 100% Delirium map with extra damage mods on top (or -max res/pen ele, whatever), then congrats, you’ve finished the game! But honestly, I doubt anyone here can actually do that.

Anyone saying “make mobs hit harder baseline” just doesn’t get this game or how it’s meant to be played. It’s probably not your fault—GGG just hasn’t given you the info we PoE1 players take for granted.

If GGG decides to make the game more Souls-like (fewer mobs, more incoming/outgoing damage, etc.), ask yourself: what happens if you add Delirium? Every mob becomes a boss—hits hard, has tons of life. The answer? You’d need to build a character that’s immortal, with infinite life sustain and other overpowered stuff.

The PoE1 way works, but you have to wait for GGG to add more content to keep you engaged. They also need to make juicing maps easier, because right now, reaching 100% Delirium is pretty expensive, and the rewards don’t match the effort.

I really hope they do listen, because POE-1 combat is incredibly bad and dull. This is the reason that every time I reach POE-2 maps, I play for 1-2 days, get bored and quit the game. And ofc for this reason I don't play POE-1.
