SSF is an unbearable slog without a crafting bench

"
I have no idea how people are playing SSF, that must be pure torture in this game. 99% of the time I don't find any useful items for my class or build so to play SSF is a slog. Without trade, this game is unplayable.

GGG needs to buff loot drops for anyone playing SSF. Maybe 200-300%. Then, make it so they cant move into trade. I think 99% of the players would be happy with this trade-off.

That would hardly change anything. +300% trash is still trash.
We need better crafting that is partially deterministic and better probabilities when it comes to rolling high tier mods
Please don't play SSF and then ask for nerfs or buffs, the solution is to not play SSF if you can't stand it, not ask for changes...

Also Runes is what replace the crafting bench, in next patch any gaps will have a rune solution.

What kind of logic is that lmao? This is a feedback forum for an the beta version of a game.
And his feedback is that the complete lack of decent crafting options makes you hit a brick wall in SSF item progression pretty early on into mapping. Which is just true.
SSF is just way to much grind.

SSF is core

Stop playing easy mode, pay to win.
You have nothing to contribute, you are not even playing the game.

This truly is the most ridiculous "logic", leaving an entire game mode broken just cause.

Ok then how about dont play trade league ever if you want to feel like your gear are meaningful and not just bought via RMT which is what most streamers/big builds are doing meaning they dont even play the game like in SSF

Clearly nobody should play trade league if they want to actually play the game.

SSF absolutely needs to be fixed via actual crafting methods that should also exist in rmt league, this is about how a player experiences the game and to improve the experience, reliable gear progression at endgame is needed

I find the worst part about current crafting is it's tiresome.

I like crafting in poe1. I feel like ive got lots of tools to work with and its all organized well.

But in poe2 most of the process feels like a chore, so much gathering/storing/reforging. And when i get to the fun part of using my 'tools'- im out of currency in 5 mins and usually got nothing to show for it. Not to mention the pressure to buy more tabs to keep stuff organized...

I've got 3 normal tabs of jewels, 5 normal tabs of ilvl 82 rings/ammies, 5 quad tabs of ilvl 82 armour/weapons and I just dont want to do the work of grinding them all down for a chance at a good item. Spamming 3000 alteration orbs in poe1 wasnt fun, but i found it less tedious than this reforging/recombining system.

I understand what they were trying to accomplish, but they bungled it completely.

They wanted a clean slate from the bench. OK, fine. So what is the replacement? Will it fulfill the same role?

If the answer is "not even close" then maybe they either shouldn't replace the bench, or come up with a better solution before releasing this to the public.

And for anyone who says "It's what early access is for" I'll reply with "You don't do a complete teardown and act like it is the solution." Because, that's what they did. GGG HAD to know that what they were presenting was useless. In fact, they did know, because they already went through that with POE1. They literally caused a problem that they had already found a solution to in POE1.

And that's the story of POE2 really, so many problems were introduced that were already solved in POE1.

Keeping drops "meaningful".
