An update made the player a clown

Exactly, I can use myself for an example. I started as a Ritualist, because it sounded cool to have multiple slots of rings. Went for LS/Rake which was also cool, but my main goal was a Cast on Dodge Spark Autobomber (because its FUN).

Made a Bloodmage AND a Chronomancer to see which works best using Sands of Silk Shrouded Vest. Stayed on Bloodmage because the Damage is far superior due to bad crit balancing.

Then I dropped THE LAST FLAME on the first day of the new patch. Immediately thought nice, now I can get myself a Temporalis for cheaper, because the relic was around 1000 Divine at that point. Looked it up and sold it for 270 Div afterwards which wasn't enough.

Then I noticed Choir of the Storm is dead and doesn't work with anything anymore. It's just an extra skill to use. So I thought "Hmm, why not get some nice items for my build to push even further. Tabula Rasa is at 70 Div and is a cool unique. Let's get one"

Looked it up and it was 2 DIV, Kalandras Touch Ring 20 DIV (that this LEGENDARY Ring even dropped this hardcore in price is shameful)
Rite of Passage Golden Charm around 100 DIV
Now I've got some nice items and got an identity crisis if I even want to continue playing, because the main goal I had is gone. I still like my character, but I'm forced to play builds I don't want to play. (I can clear the entire game solo with my current build btw)

Why take away the fun?!

Wait wait wait... If I understand well you're complaining that you can buy the items too easily so that's why you're not having fun?

If I understood that we'll then you might be overqualified to enjoy the game and might need to actually find a game that's more suitable for your level.

Or start challenging yourself in a more creative way.

Gosh, I really wish this forum had a way to downvote posts...

Wouldn't that be nice.. throw in an ignore function and i'd be a happy person.

On topic though, you are complaining because a thing you have is not as valuable as it used to be?

That's just silly, unless you're throwing tantrums in real life as well after you buy something and then see it on sale later in which case holy hilarity, Batman!

You run the latter, you beat it, you obtain the former. Quite decent price, right? Won't that suffice your need of divines?

Better now, run two of them, will get you around 900d+, isn't that good enough for a new character build?

They aren't actually looking for new things to grid for. They are a hideout investor complaining that their stock market simulator value dropped. I already pointed out temporarlis grind and they conveniently ignored it.

Too expensive. Unaffordable for the majority of people. Nerf price please.

To explain a bit my context. I hate the trading game, it's not fun. On console we don't have price checker so it's a boring time if you want to check most "decent" items to get a price on them. So I barely put anything to trade since it's a not fun part of the game. The result of that is I can't play the market because of it and have to find my divine raw if I want to buy something. So upgrade come slowly, currency too. In my case everything that help lowering the price and/or helping me craft easier is only a benefit. And I'd put my hand in a flame that I'm surely not the only one who think that way.

Of course, you have never witnessed the power of those automatic combat scripts. GGG increases the explosion rate and depreciates items, but it only creates more RTM revenue for the script studio. On the other hand, how many items are worth trading in the game? Is this a single player game? ha-ha! I hope that those of you who are still playing this game can still have the fun of "treasure hunting" and use it as a transaction between players in the game! Time is the best answer!
Oh wow...you can TRADE items for less divines now and you don't like it, why are you trading in the first place if you pretend to enjoy grinding and chasing rare items?
