Voidborn supporter pack now seems worthless

Every supporter pack comes with an equal amount of store points, though? I also own the Voidborn pack, and they can release standalone versions of every single skill and player effect in it for all I care; in my mind I got those for free, because I paid about 500 USD and got about 500 USD in shop points. The various effects, the hideout, and the hoodie were all just added bonuses.

I was taking a break from PoE when they released the first supporter pack to feature an armour set that floats. I'd have felt less than great if I missed the one and only opportunity to acquire such. They'll never please everyone.

If you ask me, the way they float is exactly the same. Just with some particles added or changed, and a new armour set with more customizability.

I understand you’d feel that way, but if you ask me, that’s how it should work. And that’s how it has always worked before. An example would be your "custom forum picture" or Grandmaster tokens. I cannot buy them now even if I wanted to.

Why buy a $500 pack when you can get (almost) exactly the same thing for cheaper? There has to be some FOMO or exclusivity element to justify that kind of price, next to wanting to support the company.

My point is that the MTX is an armour set; and that it floating is but one aspect of it.

If you wish to buy a custom forum avatar, I have never heard of the option no longer being available.
