Playing on EU Servers Feels Terrible
It's very disappointing to experience these extreme server issues, on league start it has happened a few times before but usually only in the first few hours, half a day max.
But so far even at the end of day 2 server lag and crashes have been a constant issue from start to finish. I urge you(GGG) to either get your server side techs to get their stuff in order or find new/more capable people to mend them. If other games and companies can run their online games 50 times more stable than PoE you really don't have a good excuse imo. Last edited by Flamewhisper#4323 on Jun 14, 2025, 5:54:11 PM

" Did they though? My experience playing PoE1 the last months was perfectly fine, no crashes whatsoever. Now its a dumpster fire. It sucks for all involved, no company needs advertisement like that nor do the people, setting aside some of their precious free time, need a disappointment like this. Personally, im just playing something else until this is resolved. The leagues young, it will go on for some months. |

+1 unplayable start of the league, disconnects each 10 min (sometimes each 1 min). I'm very surprised, that nothing was done during this time and we got no information about the issue.

" Ofc they knew, this is the same issue that POE 2 had since April release of 0.2, this never really happened to such extend in POE 1 (of there were DCs and lags etc but it wasn't causing such bad rollbacks as well as deleting entire opened instances), and with POE 2 they didn't do ANYTHING about it, only now it came to POE 1 with new release and exact same issues on the exact same servers. |

" I tested on Singapore and Auckland (I am in Europe!!) and the issue occured there too. It's a POE issue, not a regional issue. |

" You have contracts for such stuff. Server goes down - X time (usually 30 minutes/1 Hour or so) - and if not up again, there is a penalty to pay. In a normal company such an outage would have the Incident Managment on it, organizing meets with providers, and everyone else involved to work out a timely solution. Buuut... I am not sure how their troubleshooting group is set up, or if they are just winging it, relying way too much on their providers to have their shit together. |

" Fair enough, I only played PoE2 for two weeks and deinstalled it - not beacause of crashes though. Just dislike the game. Then certainly there must be something in the build they took over from PoE2 which brakes stuff. As I said, my experience the last months in PoE 1 was perfectly fine! Basically what i meant to say is, the disappointment and anger of the players is well founded, no denying that. But I rather spent my time with something positive instead of dwelling on the negative experience we are having here. So, Im going to stab some people in the desert now for a few days and then see if this is fixed or not :D |
