Constant crashing and freezing

I am guessing there is but is anyone else experiencing constant freezing and crashes? Is there any suggestions to help stop it? I run a very high end system with a fresh format and I get constant freeze ups and crashing and it is getting to the point I don't want to play anymore. Help.

same thing here, high end pc 9800x3d rtx 3070 and my game freezes every single new map, sometimes it comes back looking like a lag, a cog appear on a black screen and the game resumes, but most of the times the game just completely crashes...its unplayable....yesterday after the freezes i was taken to the main menu with the disconnect message, today it just crashes...any update on this? and i tried poe uncrasher and it doesnt help, something tells me its a server side issue

A few guildmates and I are having similar issues. Game will freeze for ~10 seconds, come back with black screen and GGG cog, and 9/10 times "An unexpected disconnection has occurred" is the result.

Every now and then my map will seem to survive whatever issues is causing it and will be fine after the freeze+blackscreen, without the typical disconnect. We havent been able to figure out a cause thats common between us all, different servers, different builds.

Same here. Happens even during campaign.
Try different graphic configurations (NIS, DLSS...) and still happens :(

i5 7600X - 4700TI - 32GB DDR5 so is not a "performance" issue

Update 1: Now I'm trying to disable Global Illumination to check if it's the problem

+1, almost never had crashes in the old leagues, but his league is insane, the game crashes almost everytime i enter a new city in campaign, random crashes in lab and maps...

I was crashing through the weekend, then last night and earlier this morning was fine, then it started again in a new map (one I hadn't done before and I don't have another copy of) and the map was lost.

Very hard to play this game right now as buggy and laggy as it is.

I too am experiancing the black screen to POE Cog freezes, its pretty frustrating. I have a higher end pc as well 4090, ryzen 7 7800, 32gb ram, win 11 build 26100

I run an I9 13900k with a Rtx 4090 and 64 DRR5 I shouldnt have a single issues. It is so frustrating.

I have the same issues, and i have noticed that it often happens when a Mercenary is within "map range"
it start to stuttere a few times, then my game closes.
Often i can get back in the game and continue map, as long as i stay away from the area the Mercenary is, if i get to close, it crashes again.

Its "ok" in open maps, but in linear maps, its just lost.
Same thing happens in campaign, with or without mtx on.

Swapping servers dont help
