3.26 Kingsmarch gold cost
gold cost for currency exchange cannot be removed without killing the economy, if you allowed me to place buy and sell orders with no price I would personally destroy the trade league. I'm not the only one

I have a question for you OP.
When you get into maps on a fresh start, rocking maybe a tabula, some campaign rares... do you start running 8 mod corrupted maps, with a full atlas strat? No. You probably do not. You recognize that this would be unreasonable. Its too much too early. Have you considered, that you might be overextending yourself with your town? That for the point where you are with your character, you don't have the ability to sustain more workers? Or do you just max out everything no matter the consequences. Man, GGG was absolutely right, that if you give players the option to max out something even to their detriment, they will do so, and then complain about it (crucible league). Also why the hell do you have that many miners. If you are running maps enough to keep that many miners occupied, you should really not be struggling with gold either. tl:dr Get less workers, or run harder maps. |

" it's every single streamer strat video. [GIGA STRAT 15 DIV PER HR] Streamer picks up every single node that makes content harder and is playing a build with higher net worth than yourself, your family, your friends and your friends families combined. You don't realize this and try out the strat. You are chomped and spitted out by this insanely hard content. Or you're losing money cos 2c scarabs are now 15c scarabs Pikachu face.jpg every time. |

this conversation is a joke.
one side tell something like - You can get 500k Gold per Map . The other side , cant even afford the Miners or Dust Cost. Some say - Farm Katharina for the allflame. Is this a joke? Katharine is like a 1 Divine cost run - And maybe she drops a Allflame, and maybe its the Gold Amber. Also the Strategy to use the new 16.5 Maps - Pedals are random. ---------- On console u are actually force to play SSF - there is no market anymore. Only 1 -2% can afford to use t17 Fully juced content. They must be able to run everything in Kingmarch , if they want. But normal Scarab t16 players should also easyly can use 1 Strategy in Kingsmarch - and thats not the case. When i think about Recombination on Console - i am Immidiatly think about quitting the game. The Balance is so hardly off. And thats not only a kinsmarch problem. T16 maps are not Worht investing anything , most of the time. Only for specific strategys. Boss Rush for Maps - t16 but t17 is better Rouge Exiles - T16 is okay, t17 is 20 times better Gold - t16 maps 30 - 40 000 gold per map normal juiced. t17 like 80 000 . This balance is a hard mess. I could go on and on, but i think, the harcore 12h per day players, will say other things like ( Bro u can have 500 000 g per map and 6 t0 Uniques, yeah yeah yeah! ) |

" Mate do you want me to make a video after work of what i mean? It's not every map, just those with rarity pedals in T16.5 maps. Pop a rarity pedal on a magic pack and boom +100k, on a good map you can do this multiple times. No Allflames or expensive scarabs required, no special gear. I've never said anything about t0 uniques I don't know what's so controversial about that "claim". Just casually playing the new maps and pressing F2 once in a while Last edited by Rikku#7536 on Jun 25, 2025, 8:14:16 AM

" 1. Jumping into the middle of the pack and pressing F2 is a painfully clunky procedure. You have to reach a distance away from QWERT to hit that button, and good luck doing that smoothly while you're fighting for your life in T16 maps. 2. Having to jump into the middle of a pack is incredibly dangerous and is prone to instantly killing you before you can fire the ability off unless you're running an extremely tanky build. 3. Good luck properly utilizing that if you're a ranged or caster build that doesn't want to be getting up close to mobs. 4. Summoners are straight screwed with this strategy as minions will passively stomp anything that gets even remotely close to you. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! Ok, apparently pressing F2 is too hard. I give up

If that's the conclusion you draw from the very valid criticisms I pointed out with this mechanic, then you're not a serious person.

" Why did you do that? They can be as low as 290 at T5. I won't even look at a minder who charges more than 325. To make Kingsmarch effective, you need to cycle through workers until you get T5 that are gold efficient. it was the same way in Settlers league - except that workers were even harder to get gold-efficient at t10, and more expensive than they are now. Buying inefficient works is wasting your gold twice - once on the purchase, and every time you pay them. Avoid disenchanting, farming or mapping on sailors, smelters and miners. Avoid mapping on EVERYONE but mappers. Those are most of what is making them more expensive. Just cycle through the basic recruits at 2k a pop - spend about 150k per night, buying only cost efficient T5 workers. Here is a baseline: Smelting: 400 gold Mining: 325 gold Farming: 675 gold Disenchanting: 750 gold Shipping: 650 gold Mapping: 1000 gold Don't buy workers more expensive than this. You're just throwing gold away on a worker you're going to replace. The more efficient you get your workers, the longer you can run Kingsmarch. I've gotten mine down to 18k per hour after a few weeks of iterating through to progressively cheaper and cheaper workers. After this work, it's now starting to pay off. Also, have a spare set of shippers and mappers. They die. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Jun 27, 2025, 5:07:57 PM

I have seen so many people that hire T3-5 workers that also has a higher baseline skill making the cost per hour skyrocket.
1: Never ever buy a miner, farmer or smelter that also has mapping or disenchant skill. The gold per hour will be insane. 2: Only run mappers when you have extra gold and a lot of maps with mods you prefer not running yourself. Mappers are very expensive. Yes they can give some nice things, but if you struggle with gold it is certainly not worth having them running all the time. 3: Only have the disenchanters running if you have a valuable unique to disenchant. Don't bother spending 30 minutes to disenchant a 10 000 dust unique. It is simply not worth it. Go through your filter and make it mark higher value uniques and disenchant them when you have extra gold to do so. Disenchanters are very expensive to constantly run. Remember a low item level unique is worth quite a bit less dust than the same unique that dropped in a higher level area. If you play casually try farming up gold before putting yourself into situations where you contantly run out due to not keeping up with the cost. Personally I like to farm up around a million gold before even considering activating mappers, disenchanter or ships. If I know I won't be on for a good while I often stop everything in town to have 0 upkeep while I am away. A good way to look at kingsmarch and gold is that you have the option to convert gold into loot. It is an option. Not mandatory. Never compare yourself to people that play 10+ hours a day unless you do too. Chances are huge that you also play way less effective and with much much weaker builds. If you are like me you can never compete with those people anyway. You will be much much happier with the game if you only compete with yourself and your own limitations. :) Oh and here is a trick for mappers: When a mapper dies it will always be the lowest tier one. So you can easily run 5 nice tier mappers and one low tier. That way if the 1% death happens(can't get lower chance than that) you only lose a cheap mapper and don't have to spend a ton of gold rerolling for a new one.
