Allow Currency Exchange in SSF

Why I can fully go along with the no equipment trading, I think exchanging currency at Alva should be a thing. For example as an SSF player Divine Orbs hold less value than other curreny for a long time after leaving the campaign, in my opinion. In SSF you need to rely way more on base crafting and the sucky RNG system in the game, before even thinking of using a Divine Orb. I would rather be able to exchange the lucky early Divine Orb drop for other Orbs. Similar thing for Vaal Orbs, they become worthless really fast as there is only so much equipment you can/want to corrupt...
The influx of Orbs higher than Regal Orbs is reduced due to lack of good equipment and you cannot get better equipment because trying to craft better equipment gets hampered by bad RNG and lack of sufficient Orbs you need and you cannot run better maps because of said equipment issues, so you either run low level base maps forever and hope or you run better maps and constantly reset your EXP progress by dying due to lack of suitable equipement. Ya, just play trade and don't trade players.
Only downside is you can't tell people in global, "uhm, ahhkshoealley im ssf" **I do think there should be a way to upcycle orbs at a heavy penalty like in poe1. Eg, 10 regals vendor for 1 exalt. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."

Yeah found out after you play more that this is more like a phase of the endgame. Eventually you will get 2 or 3 bases that are really good if you continue to look and craft. then you will just have an influx and you will want more divines more than anything. Made me realize like a good belt because of the way the charms are now can be "upgraded" to 3 slots with a divine honestly wish more gear had a meaning full divinable upgrade like this implicit on the belts gives them more value in ssf. Regardless you will find if u play enough the reality is that you don't get enough whites, uncommons or good rares to use all the currencies on. Also can always waste them on gamba items like the ventors ring. Do still think progress to ubers is a bit too slow imo. Want to see a speed upgrade of character power need the endgame. Things like getting white delirium emotions or tier 1-2 all meaningful affix rings take a bit too long still.

" PoE1 SSF does allow for vendor recipes, where you give a vendor one type of currency and you get another one back. OP, I think it's way too early for that. They are still balancing how currency is going to drop. It might be available in the full release. |
