In LE item bought from the market cannot be listed on market again. Problem solved since day 1.

You're not taking into account PoE is always at least 2 decades behind other similar games.

I really like this idea.

It feels a little bit prohibitive though - perhaps a cooling off period?

Substantial enough to disincentivize flipping, short enough to not make it feel bad to play two builds and sell your old gear, or give it a subsequent prohibitively high gold fee to relist, which decays over the same amount of time.

That is beyond useless.

I'm making a whiskey at home. More like a brandy actually.

So the deal is to make it you need 5 years. But you do not do it, then wait 5 years, then drink it.

No, you make it every year. So after the first 5 years you have new batch every year.

Now replace year with a day. People who flip every day will still be selling 5 days old items each day. And make divines.

No one will care, besides the regular player, who will want to get rid of the item he bought today, but have to replace it because he found better. And now has his divines locked for 5 days.

This is Uber bad for regular guy who is counting his every div.

And useless to stop flipping, who if anything will be operating at higher margin.

Drop it.
Same everyday issue on bots manipulating currency exchange, players have forsee these scenarios before the launch of the new trade system. Not much can be done for now unless GGG priortize tje issue to be address.
trade bot and many bot party auto run map =))
Stop playing trade league.
Get gud!
If you want to compete with bots, it's because you're trying to take advantage of someone too, because bots won't compete for an item that has the right price, you're complaining about nothing, think that in the world there's always someone faster than you, regardless of the way he uses to get in front of you.

They are complaining because they are trying to get an advantage by wanting to buy the good items but someone is getting in front of them, have you stopped to think about it, the problem is you don't want to pay the right price for the item

There's no point in complaining because you saw a headhunter at 20 ex that you wanted to buy because the person put the price wrong instead of 20 divine
