We need regular and frequent Combat Balance focused patches

Disagree. Its smart to leave builds alone and fix after league is over. If you dont like some specs being better than yours and you feel like its not fair well its not but thats life and its never gonna be perfect and you can play that spec nothign is stopping you. but 9/10 times you wont like it so just play what you like.

Leagues are short and sweet and fun as hell and i dont like being afraid to try a build that looks fun because im afraid its going to get nerfed. And i dont like when my build breaks 1/2 way in and im invested in a bunch of crap i cant use and i have to find something new on the fly, or level a diff class.

Its not PvP and there's no cash prizes just let people have fun.
Has anyone proposed yet, that when a new major PoE2 patch comes along, we get the option between a "stable" version of the league, and a "frequently updated" version of the league, so that people can opt-in to have it updated regularly with the potential to have their builds broke, and the freedom for GGG update the game as needed?

Giving the option could be a solution. It would depend on enough players opting in to test the frequent updates. However in practice, I believe players would participate. Not only that, but having both running in parallel, juxtaposed to each other, might give some insight about the effects of the changes they've made, by contrasting the two.

I get what you are saying but splitting the player base more than POE 1 and POE 2 already do is not the best idea IMO. Also suffering would be trading. Way less items means much higher prices usually.

I posted this in another thread but GGG really needs to get into something like this...

Keep 4 month cycles. New league, items, class, etc with all the nerfs. Then 2 months later do massive buffs to all low performing / used stuff. Then 2 months later New league etc and repeat. Obvious bug fixes when needed and get them out ASAP.

Uh oh, wrong recipient i guess.
I have 1.5k hours, played various builds and I am not talking from one specific build point of view.
