Love these types of posts in advance.
The drop sounds for unique items are still "hard-coded". Will this ever change? PlayAlertSound None -> does not work on uniques DisableDropSound -> does not work on uniques There is no item-filter-setting, that I'm aware of, that gives me full control over Unique items.
