Crashing On Debian

Starting today after the update; Path of Exile is crashing shortly after entering combat areas.

I'm on Debian Sid, with an AMD GPU. Using POE through Steam/Proton.
I have tried Proton versions:
Hotfix
Experimental
10.0-2 (beta)
9.0-4
8.0-5
GE 9-16
GE 10-24

I have tried it with Windowed Fullscreen, Fullscreen, and Windowed.

I have tried Vulkan and DirectX11

I have tried a clean install

Anyone?
Have you tried running the stand-alone client with Lutris?

Have you tried clearing the shader cache?

Are your graphics drivers up to date?

If you walk around town or your hideout, do you have any graphical artifacts, sound stuttering or other anomalies?

Do you crash if you use any of your own combat abilities in your hideout?
bump
I'm not sure what you're hoping for when bumping the thread.

GGG don't themselves offer Technical Support - and even if they did, they don't support Linux. Other members of the community aren't going to be too likely to spend their spare time trying to help you if you just ignore anyone who tries. You get out of community support what you're willing to put into it; an unwillingness to answer others' questions won't get you very far at all.
GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

Free Technical Support guides are available here: https://www.poecommunity.help

No ads, trackers, or other weird stuff.

Took awhile as I had no experience with Lutris, but the only difference is that it locks up for awhile before crashing

Yes, forgot to mention that in the original post

Yes

I did not notice any

I just spent about 10 minutes running around my hideout casting spells, nothing happened
I have the same problem on Debian Trixie, also when playing the game via Steam. I enter the area, kill some mobs, and the I crash after some while. On the previous Debian version it was running fine. I've installed the newest NVIDIA driver, directly from NVIDIA's website.

I've noticed that the crash happens when the game reaches a certain percentage of RAM usage so I suspect that there might be some obscure OOM mechanism in place that kills the game; not 100% sure though as I can't find any OOM logs.

Let me know if you find a solution, please!

Was it working for you before the current league? It was working fine for me before the Halloween update

What DE are you using, I'm on KDE/Wayland

I'm on Arch Linux (btw) and i started to have weired crashes since last kernel update 6.17.something on Monday. Tried everything without luck - today i switched kernels to the LTS kernel branch (6.12) and it's stable again.

Just checked, I'm on 6.17...

Unfortunately there's no simple way to switch kernels on Sid, but another respondent is on Trixie, which uses 6.12
