Ban "landmine" trade scammers extension

Another fix would be a toggle to only use the currency you’re carrying in you inventory.
No more “oops, you bought my divine taxed map, thank you.”

I actually block them, either when I see them and through previous search.

honestly, the whole system would work better if the price and item is locked in another "buyer stash" for buyers to pick up after they travelled to their hideout. The seller can no longer modify the item when someone clicked "travel" on the trade site because it is now in "Faustus's stash", not the player's.

This also prevent people with longer loading screen from suffering.

That is not what the problem is. They don't modify an item. they price several items according to market price eg 35c for a t17 map and then mix one or few ones among them with a much higher price that looks similar, like 35 div or 355c...The people who fall for that actually want there to be other items of the same kind so they can buy in bulk. That's why it's called landmines.

If everybody would just click on the singular item they bought which is marked and cannot be changed in price while someone is traveling to the hideout there would be no problem as far as i am aware. Maybe i am not aware but that is my understanding..

Also, regarding the op. There is no option to ban anyone. YOu can price your item however you want to. If anything they have to prevend that items that are priced 35 div can be in the same tab as items that are priced 35 c. But banning is out of the question. It is not a scam, they actually click on the item and buy it. Nothing gets changed in the trade tab, it is just overpriced.

How do you expect them to "ban an extension" the things some of these people come up with in their head because they don't pay attention are absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.

You need to READ before you purchase an item, either through personal or asynch trade. It is the mistake of the buyer if he pays too much or does not get what he initially wanted. Learn reading, it is an essential skill in life or do you also zoom-sign important papers?

This could be solved with a "trade basket", something like the normal trade window but where you see how much currency you totaled
