I'm not defending anything, I'm telling you that you're just angry and paranoid and if anyone is bad, it's you, because I don't have people or "bots" sniping any value item. There's a thing called a live trade search, people have been sniping for a long time just as long as people crying on the forums about "shop bots".

Since you know so much apparently more than everyone else, maybe you should apply at GGG and work for their game compliance team so you can "combat the bots".

ah yes, reading problem syndrome. re read OP.

When you CBA to format your sentences properly don't expect them to be read properly.

Additionally, if you could provide a video example of this it would be more helpful otherwise it just looks like you are complaining.

How would anyone get an item before it's even live searchable doesn't make sense. Post some type of evidence to your claim.

Bots are an issue and they've been a issue in POE2 and just ported over now.

They use a renderless custom client that strips it from needing to basically load any type of graphics, sounds, shaders, etc, etc and then use packets to manipulate the game.

The very same frame they've entered the H/O they can send the buy packet and not a single human would ever be able to compete unless the bot has high ping.

It's exactly the same how old currency flip bots use to work, the ones where you sent a trade and the exact same millisecond you accepted they'd already have filled the entire trade window to full with whatever bulk currency you wanted.

The same guys that wrote those probably find it even easier now since they don't even need to keep track of a trade queue for players, handling multiple currencies and bubblegum, etc, etc.

I'm going to out on a limb and say probably every single item that is under priced grossly and allows a 5D+ profit is 100% going to be bought by bots.

That's crazy, I thought they patched out the old currency flip bots by now.

So most of this started in POE 2 and is now migrating over here??

Eh it's been a thing for every MMORPG since the start, not really feasible to really completely tackle if the game is F2P. Since all they'd need to make a new account and feed it some starting currency.

Not sure if there's even a requirement right now using the new trade system.

Ideally they'd make it so you must have at-least finished the campaign once per season to use.
