Harvest Gambling really needs to go.

I'm so tired of constantly seeing at least 20 people a day in global just gambling House of Mirrors, the majority of the people who do it barely even play the game they sit in chat most of the day spouting toxic nonsense back and forth. Then the thing ive seen every league since this was added.

They finally can afford a HoM from either flipping or w/e means they arent playing the game most of the time they are like lvl 84ish barely in maps and 8ish challenges. They gamble House of Mirrors and if they dont win they just quit the league till next.

How is this healthy for the game in any way? Should i just start playing this way go get enough currency to afford a house of mirrors and press a button 10 times if i dont get a mirror just pack it up and leave?

What does it have anything to do with you?

It is their currency they gamble away. If you don't like it, then ignore them.

Do you understand that this currency they are making or losing is virtual and in few weeks it will rot away forever after they quit and new league will reset economy anew?

Div gambling is one of the factors that makes Harvest farming very profitable.

people make mirror a day profit crafting in hideout should we remove crafting from the game? XDD

I don't have issue with hideout warriors. The issue is when the plain mapping is so much unrewarding that you start flipping even if you hate it.

Can you even imagine how terrible the game would be if every single design and balance decision were made based on "I sure do hope no random dude in global chat gets triggered by weird FOMO entitlement, but not quite triggered enough to turn off global chat?"

Harvest gamba is one of the things I do at the end of my league playing cycle. This league I gambled Unrequited Love up to 4 cards then poofed. And I can now spend all my divs on Stacked Decks because of the QOL change to open em really fast, its super fun for some players after they can no longer spend currency upgrading their build.

And yeah, I think its fine to have a random way for even a casual who doesn't make 2 mirrors per day to suddenly get a big item like a mirror or mageblood, or nimis from gambling away their div cards. It just gives us something to do, and hope for. Which equals more playtime. Its pretty genius.

For me, sometimes turning off the ole global chat is kinda like touching grass IRL, for me sometimes I just gotta do it.

Honestly that is on you.

Personally, I only once gambled 4 House of Mirrors at the end of mercenary and happily lost it all. I was looking to burn away 1000 divs and that was perfect opportunity. Did that with a smile on my face. If I won, I would have just gambled until all was lost.

Just leave it off by default. Global is the bad place.
