what are your thoughts about current party play?

current party play function using as a juicing method. playing with more people is increasing difficulty per person and increasing reward per person.
i think, party play shouldn't be a juicing method. playing with more people should decrease difficulty per person and decrease reward per person. (just a little less, relative to soloplay) also i think, maybe, while creating a party, permanent allocation should be only option. this will probably decrease leech parties which one person collect all the loot while others just follow and do nothing. so maybe we can see more group play. i'm not sure but maybe, it could help to solve some balance problems. if you don't need to carry six person party single-handedly, maybe you won't seek or need 6x dps. also, after merchants added to game, people started to abusing party search window for advertising their shops. most of the time party search screen doesn't help to find party quickly or effortlessly. you should eliminate full parties, you should eliminate merchant ads, you should eliminate leech parties, then if you find a party, you should join party, you should teleport to them and check their realm is not causing too much latency. finding a playable party is took too much time. i think, this part of game needs a little QoL improvment. what are your thoughts about current party play? uhhhh don't join a party than if you don't like it.... This isn't an MMO there aren't tanks or healers, sure supports(aura/curse/ko) are a thing but they need to be carried so someone is making up that dps. And only join perm alloc parties if that's what you want that's all I join unless it's a carry. Like you're just removing options you don't like that other people do... Go make your own game if that's what you want.

thanks for sharing your thoughts.
if i told something wrong sorry for that, but i didn't mean something ggg needs to change as i thought. i want to see how people thought. i only want some QoL improvment to party search screen like filters thats all. others only my thoughts, i want to see what other players thinks about party play. I like games that encourage and reward grouping up. It's not really that easy to keep a good party going and that's really the best way to make friends in these kinds of games imo. Certainly there's a limit to how much you can incentivize party play before it feels mandatory. But I'm not sure the problem is party play/rewards as it stands, so much as how easy it is to multi-box these days. Perma allo is a bad idea, because, again, the multi-boxers will not experience any real drawback to it and they're probably closer to the real issue than party giving increased drops. It's also frustrating having to pick up items just to drop them so your party members can have a go at it. Short allo could use some settings to be longer or something maybe. I wish you could make it so all items that drop could be shared w/ a box you tick or something. Maps and other items only drop for the party leader.
I do wish the Group Matchmaking was better and that Blocking accounts was more meaningful in this game. Matchmaking could really use: -auto-remove full parties -block mechanism to remove party from listing or block account entirely (2 options here. not one or the other pls.) -region listing and control so you can see which region a party leader is in as well as a filter so you can remove servers you know won't work for your latency. (i don't think showing a ping estimate will really be that effective, but maybe.) Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

" How is perma allo bad because of multiboxers????? They have nothing to do with each other.... Short of collecting everything and selling it off/splitting it up at the end it's the only far way to handle loot really. It's essentially rolling for it but the game does it automatically. There's too much happening on screen for everyone to race to click a drop first. |

I'm not fussed about party jucing. What I'd like is for loot to be personalized to each player instead of being a free for all that has to be adjusting in party settings. Some friend groups or farmers are okay with seeing everyones loot as they can pick everything up and pool it together at the end but for me and my few friends it can be abit tense when only one player gets divine drops that everyone sees and the rest get nothing, can feel dissapointing (just as an example).

" GGG needs to remove increased rarity for party play. GGG also needs to remove increased quantity for party play. Increased rarity and quantity must be completely removed from party play. All forms of rarity bot must be removed from party play. All unique items that enable rarity bot like Gravebind, etc, etc must be removed from the game. This is called "Balance". You will thank me later. 34pre98qua

" actually, i really like if they add a matchmaking system to game. ofcourse i didn't mean replacing current system but adding another way to play could be good. if you could create a party room for a map, which people can see mods on map while in waiting room or searching party screen, could be good. because right now, most of the time, party leader choose a map and if party leader doesn't inform other players via chat, other players could enter a very bad map for their builds. |

I very much enjoy party-play in PoE2 (HC of course), it's very fun to meet with randoms and go farm and kill A1 wolf boss and see half of them dying lol
In the campaign its very cool, it reminds me of the party-play we had when PoE1 had only 3 acts |
