Why I am tired after PoE2 game session? Am I the only one?

The game has inflated time wasting built in as a feature, you only design this if you are a hack or lack content (scraping everything from a decade old game isn't a GIANT RED FLAG).
Who's to say. |

" Yeah. "Exhausting" is how I would describe this game atm. I'm barely even doing anything, but I just feel so stressed out and on edge all the time, because you just don't seem to be allowed to make any mistake. I hate not being able to just relax for 5 minutes. Any moment I could be pelted by a pack of ranged enemies and put to low life in less than a second. |

I blame the COMBO playstyle.
There is nothing to look forward to, no gameplay improvements, you will be pressing the same clunky combos from start to finish. You will never get to a point where you choose your own skill to kill with. COMBOS create a sense of frustration because they keep you in place while traversing insanely long maps and you never feel satisfied with them. You never feel like you are in control of your own character so what's the point in going forward. Brain is telling you this isn't fun. |

I just find act 2 and 3 insufferable.
Act1 is alright. I enjoy the exploration. Act4 has awesome maps, like the prison, that change a bit in certain areas (flooded interior, rainy patios, cell blocks...). Act 2 and 3 are very annoying to navigate and very monotone and repetitive and the side quests are awful. The caravan thing with all the double layer maps is very annoying to me and the Act3 Stargate stuff that forces you to go through extra loading screens when you want to sell/disenchant is obnoxious. Even if the campaign is designed to be a very long-winded introduction to the end-game, so seasons last longer, at least Act1 and Act4 make it more entertaining. It's just my opinion though. |

" It's not even the "combos" perse it's the fact that the designers make 1 or 2 viable builds and force you to play those in order to avoid the massive amount of intentional time wasting. [Removed by Support] Last edited by WarrenT_GGG#0000 on Dec 14, 2025, 9:43:08 AM

Thanks all for replies!
" I am 40. Two young children. Gaming daddy would say :) Was able to hit 40/40 in PoE1 Keepers before PoE2 Druid start. I feel that in the end I play PoE2 becasue I want it to be great, the greatest of all. But probably it is not made for me, not in current state. |
