Need a way to reset Vaal Temples

I haven't seen such a complicated mechanic with such poor explanations of what's going on, since Betrayal. People say go watch a video or read a guide but I specifically don't want to do that. Game should give you the tools to understand its mechanics as well as fix the errors you make along the way.

Please. I'm begging here. I need to be able to reset this mess.
I think right now all I can do is find 6 shrines, go in, start with no additional rooms, immediately close the temple and hope rooms get deleted. Over and over. How did no one think people might need to fix mistakes? |

" The video/guide might be wrong in a week. The "reset" after killing Atziri is incomplete. And if people think they're bricked and can't get to Atziri, that can't be fun. +1 to reset mechanism.
